I hate how he says goku is a lame character and everyone cheers...stfu vegeta fanboys ..seriously...i know this is new to them but theres this whole manga and anime series called dragonball before vegeta even existed for about 6 years actually that follows gokus storyline and tells you who he is that they might want to check out and oh yeah gt as well which has very little vegeta and is focused on goku and pan and is actually not a bad story if you give it a chance and cut out a few dumb episodes and theres the original bardock movie where we learn goku is basically superman and bardock entrusts him to take care of freeza as he changed in that last moment of life and end this saiyan bloodline reign of terror basically what the uchiha clan story with sasuke is based off of...ending a past reign to begin a better new one to spread positivity instead of negativity and restart its just gokus story is more linear and based on chance then sasukes.........and the point of the show is to be like goku find nirvana where when you enter a room everyone smiles and cheers up someone people can trust a person that pushes past limits and feels he can over achieve and its a show about his effect on villains and others to change into good people..the story is about goku and his sons it was never about vegeta....their so bitter...its so stupid for vegeta fans who dont know goku to just spread their disease on the community..it happens constantly and it hurts my brain.....who beat freeza?..wasn't vegeta..whose son beat cell?..again not vegeta...who beat buu?..its so stupid how vegeta fans never grew up..i loved vegeta as a kid and I get his character but hes a side character..always was...his popularity got him fans but I always liked him better as a villain anyways...the goku roshi relationship is huge...thats what his character was built on..those turtle hermit way principles...vegeta is a stubborn worse version of piccolo and tien honestly...hes been changed by goku and always follows his footsteps but feels behind..thats basically all he is..hes trying to reach a goal he never will..its bad writing honestly..he has to accept he wont be the best at the end which is when his character comes full circle and he swallows his pride..thats when he becomes fully fleshed out but many of his fans dont remember that and only like his rivalry with goku and how he never stopped trying lol..which is ironic...keep trying to fit that square peg in a round hole or bang your heads on the wall eventually it will break..smdh...never develop guys...its just annoying to me...without goku vegeta never changes...they seem to forget that fact...who spared vegetas life?..who stopped freeza for him?..who helped him attain next level ssj by recommending the time chamber...whose son saved him..who stopped buu for him?...same for omega and super 17 and baby..its always goku...cause of who he is..

I don't think anyone is hating on Goku. This guy is invested in his character, who he has played for more than a decade now. The issue he says is during these times, Goku doesn't grow as a character as much as the others do around him. Sometimes it is more than just who beat who. Sabat mentions Toriyama didn't have anything to do with the writing of GT or the previous movies, so this is a fresh start telling the story he meant to. No hate dude.
