He called Dan - MIKE - caught it - and turned into a first down. Good job.

Don’t really understand why ESPN isn’t paying him a boatload of money to be an analyst, he’s one of the best in the business if not THE best.

Chris didn't get asked about Tom Brady so his analytical skills are actually being appreciated. Well done DP

We forgot how Cam Newton came in and flexed on the league before he got hurt huh? He was as physical as Josh

I saw Chris Simms in Pee Wee league and told my buddy that he was going to be a great analyst one day.

@@williamdillard5060 mine too. People confide most accomplish or most rings with being the greatest. I have: 1. Elway 2. Montana 3. Brady 4. Peyton Manning 5. Marino

Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes are both on a mission this season. As special as Tyreek Hill was, they seem much more balanced than they did when he was there. Although he has had a tremendous amount of success so far in his career, Mahomes is still very young. Especially when you think about guys like TB12 and Matt Ryan. Mahomes is maturing right before our eyes. I also think that Mahomes was a bit distracted the previous couple seasons with the big contract, getting married and having his 1st child. That's all behind him now and all he has to do is play football. I'm picking The Chiefs to win it all if Mahomes and the other key players stay healthy.

When did everyone in sports media start saying a rhetorical “right?” at the end of a statement?

I hope a receiver wins MVP soon. Alot of cases recently where a QB makes a GIANT leap whenever the team brings in a star receiver. They said a receiver wouldn't win Heisman and that JUST happened...I've got a bet with a friend that in the next five years a receiver will win MVP.

What Chris is saying about “looking too much at wins” is also true when you reverse it. Sometimes talent evaluators put so much stock into the abilities but don’t take into account the fact that they were habitual losers.

He has a point though, the best QB's in the NFL today apart from Brady all went to middling or smaller Schools with not great records. The QB's from the top Schools with a few exceptions get picked because they went to those schools and won a lot, without any questions asked about how good they actually are.

I wonder if the browns knew Seattle wanted Allen? If they did know that and still took Mayfield that pretty crazy.

Dan’s lack of knowledge to what Clowney did in college is absurd. He didn’t have one great game in college and that made him the #1 pick. Go watch the film 🙄

That’s funny cuz Herbo was the most accurate QB against pressure last year 🤷🏽‍♂️

By what metric though? Rodgers led in QB rating under pressure and Burrow led in completion percentage under pressure.

I think he means like Mahomes having to throw like circus passes when he’s like parallel to the ground or his feet in the wrong way, not just when pressured. Herbert can stand strong and keep his fundamentals, but when fundamentals aren’t able to be performed because of the defense or the play, Mahomes is unlike anyone
