Dan and the team seem REALLY annoyed by Chris liking Caleb Williams…which if Chris’ enthusiasm was a 5/10 on the cringe scale, their mocking of Chris and weird angle they took about the whole thing was a 9/10 on that same cringe scale.

Simms is the only analyst anyone should be listening to. After getting to know Simms and his expertise and knowledge, it’s comical to me to consider ever again listening to Dan Patrick, The Herd. First Take, Nick Wright. None of those guys know shit. None of them watch film they truly have no clue what’s really going on. They just copy whatever the narrative is and watch a few live games. If you don’t watch film you don’t know what’s going on. And Simms putting film above everything else daily proves that

It’s a great qb draft when you have 6 qbs in 1st round. As for maye, he is younger than Caleb and 2+ yr. younger than Daniels, nix, pennix, etc.. that makes a huge difference when coaching is so hit or miss in college these days.

Steve Young sat for a few years, Patrick Mahomes sat for a year, Jordan Love sat for a few years.... sitting out can work. What people leave out is they sat behind good veteran QB's who could help them learn the game. So if you don't have a good veteran QB to help teach Caleb the game, sitting out probably isn't going to be that helpful

A bit harsh on Maye. Joel Klatt has him at 2 by a distance and I trust Klatt a lot more than Simms. Also alot of people said similar things about Justin Herbert coming out. At the end of the day you don’t know how any of these guys will handle it until you get them on the field. At least half are going to be a bust

he is the best qb evaluator. maybe u got an issue with his personality because he is pretty blunt. he doesnt do it to be controversial. thats the way he is. first time i followed him as an analyst 5 years ago, the swears were not censored eheh. like normal folks when we get excited passionate about sports u dont want to sensor all u say. when he got to the sunday night nbc show, thats the first time he was the most nervous because he could drop some F words any time!!!

On “God’s green earth” it is by fruits that ye shall know and judge. Simms seems to be right on QBs more frequently than predraft media or actual draft order; could be chance, could be that he’s not the nitwit.

Luck is significantly better that Williams coming out. Luck did things under center and presnap Williams has never done, and might never be able to do. Now who knows, Williams might adjust his game once he enters the NFL, but his mental weakness is concerning, and that is likely going to inhibit his ability to adjust quickly. Luck was ready to run an under center three-step, five-step, and seven-step drop, play action pass, hang in the collapsing pocket and make the throw, offense. We don't know that Williams can play from the pocket, regularly. He wasn't asked to, thus we don't know. All that said, Williams is easily the very best of this QB class coming out, and I believe is one of two QBs that will make it long-term, Penix Jr. being the other option. I think Daniels is fools gold if you look closely at the tape. Daniels is a very solid runner, but he is questionable in the pocket, which is where the NFL game is still predominantly won and lost.

Caleb Williams is a BUST BUST BUST. You can only do that backyard crap so much and elite defenses will figure you out. Ask RG3 how all that worked out, this is no different and he absolutely is a head case. The first sign of a problem his team is going to abandon him in a hurry. Jayden Daniels is elite and the 2 people will talk about in 2 years is Michael Pennix Jr and Bo Nix. Those guys are gonna flourish.

lol you definitely haven’t done your homework and just hating on Caleb just to hate. Daniels was very average at Arizona State before LSU. 2021 he had 10td and 10ints. Caleb on a bad team did wonders. Daniels wasn’t real good until he got two amazing receivers that he could just throw it up to. Yes he had some good throws, but actually watch his games and so many of his passes were not that great and the receivers did all the work.

Simms talks a load of bollocks. Leaf's assessment is way more sensible, but teams are crapping themselves that they'll miss out. Taking a QB high in the draft is a punt, and it doesn't matter if Williams is the best QB in college ever, he will be a rookie and could easily be one of Leaf's 75%

In 8 man football all offense - no defense. from the mouth of Spencer Rattler former Oklahoma QB now at U. South , Carolina ".... I learned more from coach Beamer about defenses in 1 spring practice than I did in 2 years at Oklahoma from coach Riley...." His words . Caleb Williams holds the ball for 3.5 - 3.6 seconds which translates into 35 / 36 sacks. Me I am keeping Justin , getting fat and sassy off of draft picks and rebuiling the team.
