Me too brother, I'm joining the Marine Corps 0311. I want to take the opportunity while being in the corps to bring Christian leadership to the battlefields and show how even in the middle of a war God's love is there. I want to glorify God in every way i can. I will teach my brothers in arms how to trust in Christ as i do and live that example. You can be the best Marine and Christ will be your foundation. I want God to use me in the Marine Corps for his glory. Our God is an awesome God!

Chris (or whoever reads this).... my talented singer/song writer ,son was killed in a tragic car accident 4 months ago at age 19. This song inspired me to rise at his funeral and do something I never would have done.... in front of an 1000+ people at church.... I spoke eloquently on the love of Christ for 5 minutes and at the end I took my sons favorite hat that was hanging on his guitar at the funeral and laid it at the feet of the cross at the church. It blew me away and the audience was aghast. It was one of the coolest moments in my 53 years on planet earth. I thank you for writing this song, bringing to light the power of the cross and for all you do for our Christian world. I guess 10 years of KLOVE in my car... afffected me. Peace and Love of Christ to you and whoever is reading this. God IS in control. Never forget it.

The Lord will use you in a mighty way. That's all our purposes, is to show people God's unfailing love. Jesus said heaven and earth shall pass away but my words will never pass away. I'm blessed reading your life story as a brother in Christ I love you man and your son is shining down on you from the gates of heaven singing for the almighty. May the Lord bless you and give you that joy that no words can describe.

Amen and Amen . I lost one of my sons too, i am familiar with the loss. The ONLY reason that I am comforted is knowing and watching him come to saving faith and being washed in the blood of baptism. For that alone, i have been given comfort and peace. Thank you Lord Jesus!! Your name above all names. He is mighty to save!! I grieve for your loss and love you in Jesus name!!!

God bless you. My son died almost 11 months ago. Although I know he’s with Jesus... at times I can’t breath. I miss him so very much. I’m truly blessed to have had him in my life for 38 years. *Michael* forever in my heart.

I know this must be a terrible experience even though I've never lost a child myself. I have lost many family members who were precious to me including my beautiful 3 year old niece - 22 years ago. And that still haunts me. So I know losing one of my own children would be almost unbearable - bearable only by leaning on the everlasting Lord. May God bless you and comfort you. I will keep you in my prayers.

First, get into a quiet place, focus your thoughts on the Lord, and worship him with all you have. I find playing music like this song helps usher me into His presence. Stay in that quiet place worshipping the Lord and you will experience His presence and anointing.

Here I am again, commenting in Christian song, expressing my sadness 😔, I dont know where it came from , but i feel so so sad , maybe in life? In finances and security. God chastised me to save me. I thankfully accepted until things got tough. then I disobeyed, and lost Him. But He's taking me back. and my heart is getting better. And this song came to mind. I miss hearing Him speaking directly to me , instantly with scripture. I didn't know what I had. But songs put on my heart.. are still to me.. a way for Him to communicate. Sheesh I was so dumb. I hope He talks to me like He used to, soon!

He never leaves or forsakes us! Like the prodigal son he welcomes you home with a party! Praise God! Open your Bible and apologize for putting your own fleshy desires above his and quiet your anxious/unworthy feelings. Truth of that matter is were all unworthy and Jesus Christ makes us worthy.. nothing we could say or do will make us worthy! It because of his precious blood he shed on the cross. Glory to God in the highest that our sin has been forgiven! Press in to him and he will draw near to you. Dont let the devil have a foot hold in you life!
