My husband is white and I still haven't gotten over the trauma of showing up on time for a party that black people were giving 30 years ago. I told him over and over again that party was not going to start on time. We got there on the dot and we had to wait 3 hours before the party finally got started. 🤣 I told him! 😳

@@mkeri5121 Went to my cousin's wedding several years later.. Didn't start for 3-3.5 hours later. So did his black friend's Muslim wedding, who was the same guy giving that party. Anyway, rumor had it the bride got fat(ter) and was being sewn into the dress. But who knows? It was like 15 years after that party, that he finally got it. We still on time for everything though! I come downstairs, on the dot, dressed and ready to go! 😳😂

I had an Uncle who was late for every single event…everything! If he was coming, we knew he was going to be late! RIP Uncle Arthur! The only thing he said he would be on time for was his Homegoing service! He was always late for everything else, but he ain’t neva lied!❤️❤️ Miss him so much! He was always the life of a party!
