My now ex-wife was working abroad for 4 straight years. She came home to visit, and it was the first time I will hold her again. She took us on a trip abroad but not before telling me that she has outgrown me and has met another man she is falling in love with even though she only knew him for just 2 months prior to her arrival. They are planning to get married soon. I had no clue that this was coming, I felt her excitement to see me prior to this. He promised her a house, a car and trip to europe. Even though I'm dying inside, I gave her away with no objections. I could not compete with what he has to offer. I pretended to be fine during our trip for the sake of our 2 daughters. Its hard to believe she threw away 24 years of marriage for two months of promises. Rory, I am letting you go because I love you and want the best possible future for you.
