Am I the only one thinking it wasn't the players taken off that got peoples backs up, it was the players replacing them. Also I think Ozzy was having a decent game before he was moved into midfield. I think giving Robbo the armband was a great decision.

100% Sarah. Ozzy should have stayed at LB, Brooks on for Vini, Osula for BBD but no, we keep doing the same things that cost us the late goals as if it's ever going to change. Take all the goals we have conceded after the 86th minute this season. Without those we would be 15th

Chris: the second goal was entirely created after Norwood's "fresh legs" wouldn't work. BROOKS was the replacement. No-one is disputing the Arblaster substitution, we are disputing his replacement because Brooks' legs do still work. The movement of Ozzy to the centre when he was doing OK against Traore, to be replaced there by Trusty who Traore continually roasted, was also a poor decision in the view of the majority of Blades. This is not a general criticism just an opinion on how 3-1 turned into 3-3 on this one occasion

Would Brooks have been stood there... whilst his legs might work would he have had the same positional sense? Having any player come on "cold" in the middle of the game will have issues. People are suggesting Brooks (or Mcatee in some places) they are different players. It's like suggesting taking off Mcburnie and Sticking on Larroci.. or taking off Anel and putting McAtee on. It's not just about that one moment it's about all the other moments. I think Brooks is a great player but would you have put him on if you were taking off McBurnie/Brereton-Diaz. Or would you have seen that as daft as you are taking off a striker for a midfielder...

@@MiniCookiieMonsterWorld Your examples are taking off a striker to replace with a left-back, or taking off a CB and replacing with a left-footed attacking mid. NO! He took off Souza, a CMF and I'm suggesting he should have put on Brooks, a CMF, so no it's not "like suggesting" either of your scenarios at all. Like for like, Souza off, Brooks on, fitter, stronger, better. But no, on comes "run right past me" Norwood instead. As for replacing the striker, why take Oli Mac off when he's the nest defensive header we have at set pieces? 3-1 up you want to take someone off, replace BBD who was knackered, and replace the striker with a striker (Osula) to stretch the play! Horses for courses, not the random replacements you're picking and which no-one suggested.

Only one way to improve VAR and that is to get shut of it all together. Bring in Billy Sharp on some kind of inspiring capacity he obviously knows the club inside out, as a player and supporter. Just DON'T go getting absolutely battered and thrashed at Anfield on Thursday, keep it very respectable or even pull off the shock result of the season. ⚔️UTB⚔️

Not much talk about the clear one on one wi had hamer in first half where ref pulled it up but if it's offside hey can wait until players get injured before an offside gets called 🤔

I dunno why norwood gets nod infront or brooks with playing 3 midfielders we need mobility and norwood can't offer that anymore I believe

Fairly simple... they are different types of midfielder. It's like saying why saying (when Baldock was fit and at RB/RWB) why does Ozzy/Laroucci/Lowe etc get in infront of Bogle... Yes that example is more as they play on different sides of the pitch... but one is more a holding midfielder the other is a more attacking midfielder... McAtee is an attacking midfielder, even Slimane is more a CAM than A DCM

Ha ha ha yeah put brooks on cos every idiot at bramall lane hates Norwood for some reason. Honestly I swear there's people sat at the match that aren't even watching. Bloke behind me lost his sh/t with Norwood on Saturday and it was hamer. I saw brooks and that whole left side crumble against Aston Villa so don't be making out that he's the answer
