NEW WHEELS & COILOVERS For My Subaru WRX STI!

Achieving the perfect track stance meaty tire fitment on my 2020 Subaru WRX STI! The wheel specs are 18x10.5 +22 with a big 275/35/18 tire. In the rears i'm running about -5ish degrees of camber with P2M Rear Upper Control Arms, Cusco Lower Control Arms, and Verus Engineering Toe Arms. The upper control arms are key with these specs... Fronts are maxed out BC coilover camber plates with around -4.5 degrees of camber.

My sti do the same thing with the lopsided on the rear, but instead mine is .5 inch difference. I searched all over for this video and you only one who actually explained i! Really appreciate it🙏 I thought was just my car😭🤣

You should be adjusting the coilovers by measuring from the ground to the fender. Keep in mind this has to be done on a flat, even surface like the garage floor. The coilovers will all be at different threads because of how weight is distributed on each corner. I had the same problem when I was trying to get the same height on all four corners and that’s what the alignment shop told me. Also look into corner balancing your car since you went with a track stance. Hope this helps!

yup! Same issue here on BC Coilovers. I used a caliper and the heights didn't match on my 09 Hatchback. Sounds like a common problem, but its an easy fix!

Car is looking bad ass! Those TE37 looks so nice on that car! I have a 2018 STi with BC Racing coil overs as well sitting on TE37. Yes my passenger side looks like it’s sitting higher than the driver side. I thought it was always my car or my suspension but now I know I’m not the only one. Haha.

I just read on a forum and supposedly it’s all like that. The way it’s built that everything is catered to the driver side like steering column and such. It bothers me but at least we are the only that noticed it haha. Most of the time when I’m taking a picture or recording my car I always do the driver side more than the passenger side.

TE's looks CLEAN, also yeah of course one side of a car is gonna sit higher/lower, no high production passenger car has perfect weight distribution.

Same. On my 2020 STi on the driver side is slightly more lower than the passenger side and I also measured it. Running 265/35r18 tires and rub only the drive side

Same issue with my WRX. The rear right always sat just a little taller even with both coils maxed out. Had to go with drop LCA's to lower that side more.

My guess is you know some good body shops/car shops that do minor body work. I’m looking for the best possible quality shop in San Diego any ideas?
