He's a great family man and has proved that over and over. Delighted that his new album "Greenfields" has made it to No. 1 in the UK. Barry deserves only success and good luck in his future. Love the Bee Gees as a group and now Barry as a solo artist. Long may Barry's success continue.

Barry always emphasizes the importance of never buying into the adoration and stardom to the point of loosing reality mainly because you can't ever take anything for granted. The Gibb brothers were all very respectful, grounded, very realistic and very humble down to earth men. They managed to weave their music and personalities into our hearts so much so that you just involuntarily hum a Bee Gees melody out of the blue...such special guys...such warm and honorable men their parents did an outstanding job of raising them. The Bee Gees will live on forever. In this interview Barry demonstrated great patience and a professional demeanor. So very sweet you just want to hug him.

Always knew he was a talented singer and songwriter, and the most handsome man I've ever seen. After seeing the HBO documentary and watching many interviews, I see what a decent, kind, and humble man he truly is. In this interview they kept asking him to answer the same questions again differently, when the first answer was perfectly fine, yet he stayed pleasant and professional. Married now for 50 years and values his family the most. This man is a rare treasure. Thank you, Barry for the beautiful songs and music that will live on forever.

As someone who spent many years auditioning and programming music for two major New York radio stations, I had the pleasure of meeting and interacting with hundreds of artists as part of my responsibilities. The Bee Gees would have probably given me a heart attack if they ever walked into my office as many artists did when promoting a new single or album release. I always behaved professionally and relaxed...but if Barry and his brothers were to have ever walked into my office, I think for the first time in 17 years working in Broadcasting, I might have lost it and gone right into "groupie" mode and locked them in. They owned a piece of my heart...I just loved them so much...all four of the Gibb brothers were such endearing special guys...we are fortunate to have Barry who's still giving so generously of his talents and including all the boys to this day in his newest LP "Greenfields Vol. I" containing a tribute to his brothers by dueting with music greats like Keith Urban, Dolly Pardon, Olivia Newton John, etc. We look forward to Vol. II and Vol. III, etc.

Barry is THE man. Just an awesome human being who is humble and real. He is just a good man.

What I find astonishing is his humble attitude! I mean, this interview was in 1982 so after the colossal success the Bee Gees had with the Fever soundtrack, which made them world famous popstars. And yet, he is talking like an ordinary singer 😮 God bless Barry and his brothers, in my heart forever.
