We got that laundry done, only took 6 hours for two loads. I hope you get your power system setup on your boat and have a great time in the Bahamas!

Is there a cover for the Dingy? How do you get rain water out of it? What weight is that frame designed for that is holding up the Dingy and how much does that Dingy weigh? You also want to get you some fuel stabalizer to treat the gas for the engine. That ethanol fuel absorbs water and that is what causes many problems with the carburetors. Great job. It is best if you can find ethanol free fuel to run with to minimize the carb problems. All my small engines use ethanol free fuel.

Thank you for the advice. The davits are rated for 800 lbs each and the dinghy with engine is around 200 lbs. For the fuel, ethanol is the worst thing they ever stuck in it, but I have a water separator I'm going to install. It's really hard to find fuel without ethanol anymore, I did disconnect the fuel line and let the engine run dry.

The fuel sits with air above it. The fuel gets entrained with the moisture in the air. Stabilizer is your best bet and only store a small amount of fuel that can be used in two or three months. Past that point dump into your car and get new gas for dingy.

The dinghy is our car and fuel will be used quickly because the portable generator uses the same fuel type. I have already used about 2 gallons of fuel playing with the dinghy and running the generator for hours.
