Video conferencing is very popular. Two easy recommendations I have when either hosting or participating in a video conference is to use an external web camera and use a headset. The video quality with an external camera is far superior to the build-in one integrated camera on your laptop. For sound, one of the worst things you can do is use the speaker and mic that come on our laptop or computer. Internal sound frequently causes echo and feedback, and the sound quality is poor.
