Excellent Chris. Those Chub are looking in fine summer condition, especially in the sunlight. ☺ And the EA weed cutting is just stupidity. These people are supposed to understand and care for our rivers and fish and a lot of the time they don't seem to have a clue and do more harm than good. And that's what we pay our rod licence for....😡

I was in the centre of leeds stood at the edge of the canal where some narrowboats were parked, the water was maybe 3 feet deep or so at the edge and this pike loomed out of the darker deeper water and i aint kidding it was albino, i have a photo of it, against the dark coloured weed below it, it stood out, never heard of white pike.

Love watching you catch fish on the more unusual baits/lures. I do it a bit myself and had a 12lb pike on a bit of KitKat foil and then a 26lb mirror, 22lb & 19lb common carp on Wine Gums. Now the new season has started I'll have to try a few of your lures and see if I have any luck 🙂🍻

Thd salmo lil bug is absolutely fantastic i have caught so many fish with here in the uk and europe and USA i have the small versions in every colour and the large version is 25gram size 2 hook there fantastic for big water pike the small version will catcg anything i had over 100LB of chub in germany lovely pikeand trout zander big mouth and small mouth bass and musky in USA,fantastic video chris loved it awesome session mate every lure angler should have a salmo lil bug in there kitThank You chris,

Amazing fishing like any on floa bait. Have the same Salmo baits, bug and tiny. But "bug" stil not resulted. But Tiny is my favorit. Try to find Smith Camion, I think SSR perfect for this river. 01 and 08 colors top for Ukraine I think any natural color will be good. But one thing it is more expensive than Salmo, but it worth it.

Damn , when I watch your videos I realize how poor with fish rivers in my country are. I've never caught a chub bigger than 2 pounds. I compete in chub fishing + I make small UL lures for it. I can catch 50+ a day, but they are just not big as those in this river
