I have been to guyana but never got the chance to visit the falls, so i will visit again hopefully soon but this time i'm going to visit the falls for sure. Those dogs pick a good place to shelter the rain . lol

Las cataratas Kaieteur, la cual esta ubicada en territorio de la República Bolivariana de Venezuela por ser parte de la Guayana Esequiba. Dicho territorio conformo la Antigua Capitanía General de Venezuela, luego la Gran Colombia y fue Independizada por Simón Bolívar. Kaieteur Falls, which is located in the territory of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela for being part of Guyana Essequibo. Antigua that territory settle the Captaincy General of Venezuela, then the Gran Colombia and was made independent by Simon Bolivar.

+maimee2angel That may be possible... but would require a very significant hike down, and back up. The airstrip is at the top of the falls.

I AM SORRY.. GUYANA IS CONSIDERED BY OUR COUNTRY I MEAN THE GOVERNEMENT AND ALL THE COUNTRY AS A FRIEND COUNTRY, AND IT WILL BE FOREVER.. I HOPE THAT ALL BOUNDARY CONTROVERSY WOULD BE RESULT BY DIALOGUE, AT THE END MOST IMPORTANT THAN FLAGS OR STATES IS OUR PEOPLE AND ITS HAPPYNESS!

oscar trespalacios Then you don't know your History. Essequibo where Kaieteur is located was always occupied by Guyana even when the British ruled the country. Venezuela claim is based on a bogus assertion that the 1899 arbitration is not valid.
