What a pretty card Chrissie, I love those sweet coneflowers in their lovely spring yellow, and the deckle oval aperture and the RC Diagonal Stitches die show them off beautifully, and the added layer of petals with a bit of shaping makes them stand out so well in that lovely sparkly vase..the added stamped copper embossed pattern over the top was a stroke of genious as it really makes it stand out. x

Beautiful card Chrissie, loved all your little tips and tricks. That vase came out beautiful. I need to keep in mind to use some embossing with my texture stamps, it makes such a huge difference. Wowza! I'd be proud to have that vase in my home. I was skeptical for a bit but i should have known better. Persistence pays off. I've been having a play with one of my stamp, stencil, die, and embossing folder sets for the first time. Unfortunately, not everything is exactly the same so in order to get the result I'm looking for, I'll have to do some dreaded cussy cutting and a bit of piecing. At least I'll know for the next time. (I think I'm going to be dreaming about that vase.)

You never cease to amaze me! When I first saw you using the embossing tool I had to order one, so clever. When you were struggling to get that sixth flower in I was reminded what my daughter taught me when she was working for a florist, they work with odd numbers so five would have been perfectly fine. I am retired and can watch you any time of the day, every day but my stamping girl friend still works but has no computer at home so I often forward your projects to her during the day so she can luckily watch you on her work computer. Many months ago you made a comment that when you view videos on other channels you sometimes forget to hit the like button. I have been thinking a great deal about the ratio between the number of views that you get on your channel versus the number of likes that you get on any particular video. It is my habit when I open a new video to immediately hit the like button. If I find along the way that I actually do not like a video for some reason, I go out and hit the like button again to remove that sentiment, then I exit the video. I not only think hitting like is appropriate, I think it is a payment for the wealth of information we receive, as well as actually a due reward for the maker of the videos.
