@@macilak2 saw another Norwegian claiming it's really "tey-" (I'm assuming that's also "tay" as in Taylor). But what may be at play is regional variations in pronunciation, but those are usually not very dramatic... But, move to America, you're extremely likely to get a new pronunciation of your name. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I’m American and when I first saw her name I assumed it should be pronounced Rih-Anna, like a version of Rhiannon. But then over the years of hearing it pronounced Rih-Aana everywhere in the US for so long I assumed maybe it was a preference of the singer herself? Because it would really be like pronouncing your name Haana instead of the correct pronunciation of Hannah, ya know?

May Win -- Ariana Grande said in an interview recently that her grandfather pronounced it "Grendy", which sounds like a very Americanized version of the word... but then her brother Frankie started calling himself "Grahn-day" and that's why she chose to go with that pronunciation. But in high school she was known as Ariana Grendy, essentially. I agree that it's a silly American way of butchering the name, but apparently that's how her family said it....

Both, Grendy or Grahnday are horribly wrong pronounced versions of the Italian word grande. E in European words is not meant to be pronounced ay! Neither in grande, Café or anything else
