The real story of Roland is actually pretty disgusting and depressing. Charlamagme first slaughtered a fuckton of his fellow "White Aryan Europeans" and sold them as slaves to the "Orietal hordes" his ancestors supposedly saved us all from. Then he promised aid to a bunch of Muslim rebels against their Muslim overlords. He planned the campaign in a hurry and botched it horribly, so his army was running out of supply, and he let them loot and rape the Christian Basques to avoid logistical collapse. Then the Basques righteously took revenge on an isolated rear-guard of thr Frankish army and obliterated it. Hruotlandt/Roland had more in common with Heydrich than any ideal of chivalry. Oh and btw. this is from the Frankich chronicles themselves.

It's a song about the Battle of Kosovo, duh. Serbia can't be against "Kosovo", Kosovo is Serbian and always has been, even the word itself is Serbian. It's just temporary occupied by foreign terrorists.
