My dad would play this hymn vigorously on Easter Sunday morning on the church organ. RIP dad

If only Charles Wesley knew how many millions sing his early 1700's hymn on Easter morning.

Jesus is Lord and there's no controversy about that.

I have a complicated relationship with the church, but still love the hymns. This arrangement is beautiful, and just when I thought it couldn’t get any more epic the handbells gave chills to my chills.

29 April 2021 I wonder how many of us has been allowed to go to our churches, temples, mosques etc to celebrate GOD By whatever name you call HIM, HE is the LIVING and True GOD of all Nations and Peoples of this lil rock we call Earth. I pray you all will get vaccinated and will be able to rejoin in prayer and service. Even if you celebrate the mass and all in your car, it brings that warmth and comfort to know we are not alone, for as HE said, HE will be with us even unto the end of the age. May you find love and peace and know the light HIS light never dims. I ask you to pray for those who have lost their footing their way to GOD, and worse those who denounce Him and hate Him and hate all of us who believe in HIM. May GOD Have mercy on all and may HIS legions of angels and the saints help those who need GOD more today than anytime in their lives.
