The staff have one answer in mind. If you go against it or say something contrasting or different from it, their disdain is immediately noticable. I was interested in the bba llb course. My entrance test was decent. The skill assessment went incredibly well (according to me), the interview is when things started going downhill. Firstly, it was evident that the interviewers weren't really interested in my candidacy - they interrupted my intro and weren't satisfied with why I choose this programme ( they probably weren't expecting my answer). Additionally, after my answer as to why I choose law, they proceeded to ask if any law motivated me to choose law (are you kidding me?? Why would anyone randomly read the constitution and be motivated by a random article? - this begs the question, 'why did u read the constitution?') Next, one of the interviewers started rating me half-way through the interview - how can one do that? You're judging before any impression was made. Moving forward, a bunch of random questions based on the law was asked - I answered all except two. (Why am I expected to know the law when I haven't studied the law?? Further, the gk portion was covered in the entrance test, making this redundant.) The micro presentation was an even greater disaster. My topic was - ai contribution to society. I expanded on how we're afraid ai would render us jobless but also how ai would lead to employment. I also spoke about the demerits of ai in the legal field. It was then that I suppose I made the mistake - I spoke about how I'm one of those who believes that ai would take over the world - the interviewer, cut me off, thanked and dismissed me. It was a pretty abrupt end considering I spoke for a maximum of 60 seconds. For context, I scored 96% in ICSE (STD 10) and 94% in 2 PUC. I was part of the swim, debate, and college team. I was at the top of my college and was into athletics as well. P.s. they weren't interested in having a look (or at least a glance) at my certificates.

This exact thing happened with me but on the contrary they were satisfied with all my answers but idk what went wrong and I was not selected.

@@poojanair7269 I think a lot of this can be attributed to the fact that the seats available to us are incredibly limited. For the bba llb course, 120 seats are available. 60 for non-Karnataka and 60 for the local residents (I have no idea how much of this is true). Additionally, there are batches (phase 1 and 2). Let's say they choose 30 Karnataka students (or 30 non-Karnataka students) in each batch. If we account for factors such as influence, donation, reservations and admission of disabled students, it would be fair to assume the student count will reduce to 15 for each phase (for the Karnataka students and 15 for non-Karnataka students= 30 students get admitted in each phase). So the probability of getting in, is really slim. I have no idea why I applied knowing the stats but I guess that's just human tendency to overestimate our abilities? So yeah, with respect to your comment, getting in purely based on merit, is incredibly unlikely. It's a really disappointing idea.

same thing happened to me, like I want to persue ba llb course, so I applied for Christ because they are know for how well disciplined they are or whatever it is. They didn’t even hear my interview properly like the interviewers was looking down or was doing something and told me to introduce myself and when I started they cut me off, and started asking questions related to law, I answered them, confidently. my micro presentation topic was- why education is important? And i answered with whatever I could collect in those 30 secs and I did my best, but they again cut me off and thanked me and dismissed me just like in your case, other than that they didn’t even asked for my achievements and they were not even interested.

@@MehekShah-dq1nw we can probably conclude that this is all an elaborate scheme to justify the application fee. I would like to mention that my comments might come accross as being "salty" that I wasn't admitted but I'm trying to do the opposite here. I wanted to put out my experience and to know if there were others who suffered through the same list of events.

I got rejected and I don't know really what made me go through so because my entrance went super good and my interview as well, my micro presentation was also nice and the interviewer complimented me too. And the majority of people from my class got rejected even though they are good in Psych practical exposure too or as far as my observation in BA was considered. They don't have any transparency for what went wrong is my only concern.

@@vaibhavisengar2195 bruh, someone told me that they take students more likely who have been giving BA from the same college unlike us in PG, this is so wrong no. Me including 7 people from my class got rejected and there was no transparency, this shouldn't be a part of the system no, if you're rejecting someone let them know why? And on the other hand, I literally wasted so much to go for the interview and everything. Feeling so bad and numb:)

94 percent with a well built portfolio. Worked hard for 2 years yet didn't get into Central campus. I still can't comprehend what I lacked to not get in. The interview was good. I answered to the point and did elongate my answers when needed. I was placed in yashwanthpur campus.Pretty humbling to know that I was good yet wasn't good enough.

My daughter was selected for Admission in English M.A for Yashbantapur and Delhi NRC. She went from Kolkata, where she studies B.A. the day she came back they asked her to deposit fees and come with parents the very next day or 10 days after. I reside at Tinsukia Assam. So it was not possible for us to go again on short notice. Later I called them if she could get a chance. They are saying to apply again. This is not justice.

@@priyanshiiiii5347 Nothing 'obvious' about it. Trust me, I have done a lot and lot of research and talked to a lot of students before taking the decision. You can't choose banglore, just because it's banglore, you know. The course also matters i.e. Bsc/Ba plus many other factors.... so yeah!

Someone else, What gives you happiness and why? Another person, What is aggression and it's type? For somebody it was, What are the schools of psychology?

@@shatakshisingh4845 Nope. They said they will update me on the 10th of June. Originally they said on the 1st of June they will let me know. But now they shifted it to the 10th. But it's okay Christ was my 9th option.

She is really in trouble how can she migrate her campus. Because after applying for cancellation it takes sometime to refund meanwhile the deadline for taking admission in central campus will be over. What can she do??

@@bhavyasabharwal807 hey firstly sorry for replying so late but honestly I didn't prepare that good for the et but my pi went very well mostly because I was familiar with each and every basics of the subject also the micro presentation is the key I suggest you can look into the christ website for the micro presentation topics and rest just be confident as they get disinterested if the student is not confident

you are rejected if you do not meet the cut off criteria, whereas your weight listed if you meet the cutoff criteria, but the seats are filled , so the people who got selected do not pay admission fees till 1st june , You will get their seat.
