Christen Press is the all-time leading scorer of Stanford with 71 goals, but she didn't enjoy playing soccer at college. She refers to them as the "awful days." She lost to North Carolina Tar Heels in the National Championship in 2009. Almost at the end of the game, she had a chance to tie the game, but it ended up being offside.
She little by little re-discovered her passion for the game, but there were still struggles along the way. However, she still has the strength to keep going and is currently the 9th all-time top goalscorer in a tie with Shannon MacMillan with 60 goals for the USWNT, making her the highest scoring black player.

There are players who are more technical than Christen Press ( 😃 Tobon Heath), but I can watch hours Christen Press running! No one in the whole USWNT runs like her....she is a gazelle! The beauty of movement!

Christen Press is a complete competitor. Fast with an excellent shot. The US team will thank her a lot. If I had to pick for the dream team, I'd start with her. Or otherwise, maybe they are prettier and maybe they are more effective, but I would like to be in the Chriten Press team.
