Hunting season will be here before you know it! Thanks for reviewing the safety. Nobody ever does, and I just don’t get why. Just shot a tikka and loved the rocker style safety as it was completely soundless

Browning x bolt has a much better located slide safety and able to remove bolt with safety on

Have 3 Christensen arms , Classic, Ridgeline and Messa, all shoot very well. One tip, you have to break the barrel in. My dealer has had 2 come back that wouldn't shoot according to the owners.. Guess what they didn't do the break in. It's time consuming and you have to shoot a lot but I've seen them go from a 2 inch group at the start to under 1/2 once its broken in. Worth the money

Have any suggestions on how to videos on breaking in barrels?

@@DEX-un7tx Haven't seen any videos on braking them in, but Christensen does have a procedure in their manuals or you can look it up on line. I have found the larger the caliber the faster they tend to start shooting tight groups. Basically shoot 5 rounds clean then shoot another for at least 50 rounds. it does seem to very on individual rifles. I'm working with a 26 Nosler Ridgeline right now; after; 25 rounds it went from 1 1/2 inches to about 1/2 inch group. I'm sure it will get even better once I start working with different hand loads.

The barrel is not just made of cf, it's just a cf wrapped on a ss barrel.

They are awesome rifles. My .308 Ridgeline shoots half moa with two different factory loads ( that Ive found so far). Makes me want another, but I cant keep spending $4500 on a new rifle / scope set-up.

165 game kings usually are my go to! Im scared to buy one of these though. So many mixed reviews. Seems to be a hit or miss. Either going to be great or garbage and nothing in between. I just want it for the weight. I hate carrying around a bulky rifle

I’ve watch your firing multiple times and I’m positive you are pulling the trigger which is almost working like a flitch. Could be because it is a one step trigger. But the amount you move the rifle is consistent with the shots pull pulling to the left. Granted the speed of the photography could be affecting my perception of this. But looking at how fast your trigger finger could affect the accuracy.

Mines 1/2 inch factory ammo. Do the break in though, I see lots of negative comments but then they say they didn’t break it in. Mine was around 1” but would foul fast as it broke in it’s been getting better and better. Just realized you commented 1 year ago hahaha

Well if I was going to do a video I believe I would know the gun other than uhhhh... oh yea TV land also with this rifle you have the amazing trigger tech trigger that is adjustable without taking it out of the stock and will drop down to an amazing 1 lb, and the bolt spiral flutted, bolt knob with the m16 extracter, and the quick side bolt release.... uhhhhh

Couldn't agree more Danny! Here's a guy collecting a paycheck. That safety "selector" is quiet because it's not a 700 trigger. The number 2 selling point of this particular model is, like stated above, it's a Trigger Tech. Another uhhhh....the recoil lug is spot bedded and the action screws are pillar bedded. Good lord, this guy has a great job....learn the craft!
