Christian Bale Complete Filmography 1986 - 2010

14 жыл бұрынOn occasion of the upcoming 36th birthday of Christian Bale (born 30 January 1974), I wanted to celebrate his whole career with a short video journey across all his movies, from 1986 to 2009, also including some pics from the set of "The Fighter", which is going to be released in 2010.
All footage were taken from my original dvds or, when the movie was not available (Heart of the Country) or the dvd were undecryptable (The Dark Knight, Terminator Salvation) from KZfaq videos.
Besides the 35 movies included in this video, Christian Bale has worked in Walt Disney's "Pochaontas" (Thomas, voice only) and Hayao Miyazaki's "Howl's Moving Castle" (Howl, voice only).

I didn't know Christian Bale before Batman. It was really a shock when I discovered he was the kid in Empire of the Sun lol that was jarring, seeing him from kid then suddenly, Batman.

Best Actor!! He gives it his all in every performance!! Alot of actors don't do that!! He finally got an oscar!!!! And he does great accents!!!!

He did "Mio, min Mio" before he did "Empire of the Sun", and "Mio, min Mio" was filmed in 1986 too, when the Chernobyl disaster happened, so all the cast and crew had to evacuate, but wasn't released before 1987.

Crazy,,I'm getting old. I'm only three years older than Bale...Empire of the Sun doesn't seem like it's been out that long. I just finally watched that movie in its entirety about three years ago. Had no idea he has had such a carreer

You forgot 2. He was also in Pocahontas and the English dub for Howl's Moving Castle. He was the lead in the latter.

@xerxerxex: no, he met her later, in 1999, at a barbecue organized by Wynona Ryder. He was shooting "Mary Mother of Jesus" back then. He once said he married her on impulse, few weeks after meeting her. They eloped to Las Vegas and didn't tell anyone. So romantic!

@sodeuca: I didn't forgot them, indeed. YT only allows uploading 10 minute max long videos and I did't want to split this one in 2 parts. Next year I will upload the updated filmography, adding The Fighter and, as I hope, the new Malick's movie, so I'll be forced to split it... I'll add Pocahontas and Howl too then :-)

@CaptainRaccoonWhitly: I didn't forget them, but when I uploaded this video the time limit had not yet been extended to 15 minutes. So I had to cut something and I chose those two movies, in which Bale didn't appear in person. I'll surely add them in the next update of his filmography.

Aww... you didn't include Howl's Moving Castle or Pocahontas. I know those are just cartoons, but they are part of his filmography and he's pretty funny in Howl's... Besides that though, thanks for the collection of work...

I didn't forget those movies, but in 2010 KZfaq allowed only 10 minutes (or less) long videos, so I had to cut them. And they were only voice roles, anyway.

Please, everyone: stop saying I forgot Pocahontas and Howl's Moving Castle, like they were fundamental steps in Bale's career. He only provided the voice for those movies. I made this video in 2010 and I had a 10 minutes limit, so I chose not to include them. Period.

I understand you only had a 10 minute limit, but don't act like providing voices for movies isn't important in someones career. When you're a voice in a movie then try and act like its nothing. Howls and Pocahontas were important and im sure Bale would agree.
