I don’t think the original is dated at all. It’s a strong floral. They are all great scents!

Breaks my heart a little to always hear people say scents smell old fashioned 😂 I LOOVE these perfumes. I’m so drawn to more mature, floral scents and I need to get another bottle. Great review !

I think they are classic scents but I don’t think they are ‘old’. I don’t think a teenager could pull them off, as it takes personality pull them off. I love more vintage scents, but I can’t pull them off 😂.

I was hoping to see you talk about the J’adore Parfum D’eau Eau de Parfum. I know it’s not the newest one but I truly loved it at first smell. It’s so light, floral and clean. Only think I do not like about it much is the decanter sprays the juice out of it in a milky texture and it feels like it might stain my clothes if I do happen to spray it on me while already dressed. I just got me the L’Or 3 days ago and I’m excited to doll up and wear it fully to see how it truly works and wears on my body! I’ve wore it only with the small samples when it launched on Aug 25th, but now I’ll have the full experience!🤩

Great vid thx! I’m on the fence of buying the L’Or. I tried it next to the miss Dior Edp but l’or is really something I haven’t smelled before. The vanilla is a little extreme in miss Dior as well. But l’or for me would be a special occasion scent - it’s quite extravagant and more of an evening scent I’d say. :)

I really liked this video, having just returned from Nice, France! I couldn't quite catch the name of that last one, the most golden colored one--the most expensive but longer lasting. I don't care for heavy jasmine/floral scents, and the way you describe that last fragrance makes me think I would like it better. Thanks!

Lucky you! I hope your trip was amazing 😻. I had to go back and rewatch the video but the little one I talked about is jadore L’Or. it’s the 2010 formulation. Unfortunately it has changed a couple of times since then.

Great review 👏 To me original Jadore is a timeless, elegant, feminine fragrance ❤I absolutely love it, I don't think it smells old fashioned at all, even though it was created a while ago, I am not keen on any new releases...

I agree with you very much. It’s a timeless classic. I think it’ll go down in history as one the ultimate timeless scents. The new launches are a little sad, they speak nothing to the classic at all.

My favorites are the ones you didn’t mention although I haven’t smelled l’or yet. I live the white bottle for summer and the infisime or whatever is so nice for fall and winter.

I love the original J'adore and d'eau. Do you know when they will release d'eau in the roller ball form? I want to try it, hoping maybe in that format it will last longer on my skin.

They haven’t said anything about a roller pearl yet. I would check in Dior.com and change your location to France. If you see it there, then we’ll get it at some point. I hope that helps you.💙

Is the Jadore lotion worth it? I have the EDP original and love it but would love to enhance the performance by wearing the lotion and always wonder if it’s even worth the price?

The lotion is good. If you can I would recommend the body butter. It’s more luxurious in texture, and has a very long lasting scent. It will definitely make your fragrance last longer.

Hi! J’adore the EDT is very fresh I truly think it’s a beautiful fragrance because of the blood orange. It is Spring/Summer scent though. So if you are looking for a Fall scent I would say go for Givenchy, although it’s a lot sweeter. If you don’t care about what season you wear your fragrances, then hands down I would do Jadore!

Thank you Cristopher! I really enjoy your reviews. Jadore eau de toilette has the same notes as Jadore Eau de Lumière? I have Lumière and I love it! I wanna get a bigger bottle. I’m not sure if it smells the same.

Thank you so much. 😊 yes, they launched it as lumiere. Then shifted it as the EDT, they did that to avoid confusion with injoy that launched a few months after.

No need to be sorry. Re you asking about the thumbnail? Is so it is the J'adore eau de parfum infinissime. It’s the J'ADORE X INDIA MAHDAVI collaboration, they are wanting $2000 of the Dior website for the limited edition bottle. It’s a 100ml/ 3.4oz.

They changed it in 2022 to have the wire hanging.

I bought 2 bottles of this. It has very little sillage for a Parfums. To me the scent reminds me of a bubble bath scent.

I can see it smelling like that, and yes the fragrance has been watered down with time. When working for Dior we always said it smelled like White Diamonds By Elizabeth Taylor

I agree, I do think the EDT is more spring / summer, but the others can definitely work year round.

I'm a man and I've always loved J'Adore and Tresor on my mother and other women. I don't think they smell dated, and they're way more elegant than some Montale tonka-spice-oud bombs girls like to drench themselves in. I'd like to buy a small size for myself to sniff, but DAMN those prices! I'm trying to use the fact that I am a perfume collector as an escuse, but no: over 80 euros for a 30ml is a robbery. Fortunately Laura Biagiotti's Roma, another favourite from my childhood, is much cheaper and both the masculine and the femminine versions have been in my collection for several years now.

I completely agree with you. The prices on all fragrances are ridiculous. I’m not a fan of Móntale at all. I ordered two before starting the channel, and was shocked at the terrible packaging and smell of them. I don’t get the hype with that brand.

lookin to introduce my mom to a j'adore fragrance for mothers day...she's early 60s but still youthful vibes...what would you recommend 🤔 the only one that was in store for me to sample was the parfum d'eau...and i wasn't havin it 😩 it gave me like a face cream vibe and not something i wanna gift to mom 😂

Oh no 😝. You didn’t like it? I like the classic EDP, but if she wants something classic yet modern and youthful. I suggest the EDT. It’s my favorite one in the range. Just the right amount of freshness and floral, yet still keeping the essence of Jadore.

@vscents5674 well i totally struck out 😂 i got my hands on a few samples and had mom test em without telling her what they were. out of all the j'adores... she thought the edt smelled the best... but not enough to wear. she said the edp had a lotion scent that she didn't like. same with l'or. wanted to she how'd she do with poison or pure poison... but all they had was hypnotic (edt) and she said "ew, why does it smell like playdoh"😫 i feel like she would like poison or pure poison but i don't wanna blind buy after the hypnotic fail.

@@world_meets_boy I love jadore the EDT very much, I used to love L’or, but am not a fan of the new formula at all. If she liked Jadore the EDT. She may like Chanel chance Eau Vive they both have the warmth of the blood orange. Poison is a tricky one to gift out, it’s not a line I would recommend for a blind purchase.
