I was invited to talk to a Mormon Bishop's house to talk about Latter Day Saints and Christianity. What are the differences of LDS beliefs and Christianity? 3 Mormons (Latter Day Saints) were shocked to find out that Joseph Smith is a false prophet & they believe in a false gospel! What do Mormons (Latter Day Saints) believe about God, Jesus, Gospel? Have you ever asked what to say to Mormon Missionaries when they are knocking on my door? What are the Mormon beliefs that differ from Christian beliefs? Christians and Mormons differ on what they believe about the doctrine of the Trinity, the Gospel of Jesus Christ, salvation by grace through faith alone, the Bible as the inspired Word of God, etc. Talking to Mormon Missionaries takes patience and grace, and when witnessing to Mormons you need to study their books and doctrines to effectively witness to them.
In this Christian vs Mormon debate there are 3 main things that were talked about that prove Joseph Smith and the Mormon church is false. Joseph Smith testimony is false because he could not have had seen God the Father in the flesh and live. Joseph Smith Melchizedek priesthood authority is false because of his supposed Ephraim lineage and the curse of black skin (Egyptian, Cushites, Canaanites). Joseph Smith teachings that God was once a man who became a God is false. In this Christian vs Mormon debate the Latter Day Saints were shocked that they believed in a false Jesus, a false gospel, and that Joseph Smith was not a true prophet.
References that were discussed were Joseph Smith History 1:1-20, Doctrine & Covenants 84:20-22, Pearl of Great Price book of Abraham 1:20-27, Genesis 41:50-52, 2 Nephi 3:5-15, History of the Church Volume 6 pages 305-306, Psalm 90:2, Deuteronomy 4:39, Moroni 8:18, Doctrine & Covenants 20:17, Isaiah 43:10. Sources from what the Bible teaches, the Book of Mormon, Pearl of Great Price, Doctrine & Covenants, the Standard Works of the LDS church.
Joseph Smith claimed to see God in 1820 when he was praying, but he did not have the Melchizedek priesthood until 1829. Doctrines & Covenants 84:20-22 proves Joseph Smith testimony if false.
The Latter Day Saints (LDS) - the Mormon church claims that Joseph Smith is from the lineage of Ephraim 2 Nephi 3:5-15. According to the Pearl of Great Price book of Abraham 1:20-27 and Genesis 41:50-52 Joseph Smith could not have the Melchizedek priesthood authority because he would be of the cursed race, of the Egyptian lineage.
Joseph Smith claimed he would prove all other teachers and preachers to be false and that he was a true prophet of God by what he taught about the character of God not being from all eternity, but that God was once a man like us who became a God. Moroni 8:18 and Doctrine & Covenants 20:17 prove God has always been God from everlasting to everlasting, also Psalm 90:2 and Deuteronomy 4:39 prove God is unchangeable. Joseph Smith is a false teacher and a false prophet.
A very good resource to have is Kingdom of the Cults by Dr. Walter Martin who is most likely the reason Christian Apologetics is around like it is today. Walter Martin was known as the Bible Answer Man witnessing to thousands of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Mormons, and other groups leading people to know Jesus Christ personally.

Here is what I know .I am a Christian and I am a member of the church of Jesus Christ of latter day Saints. I know the holy bible to be true .I know that Jesus is Lord the savior of the whole world. I know that our Heavenly Father did have some of his children here on this side of the world. I have never read anywhere in the holy bible where Christ Himself did any writing except for in the sand so who wrote the holy bible true prophets of God. I have never heard or read of a perfect prophet. Prophets have the right to make mistakes to learn from them hopefully they do. Remember this that the essence or purposes of life is growth and to become and to overcome. It is not easy for a baby to grow up and become an adult. It is not easy for us to grow up and become like our Heavenly parents. I say parents because men and women both keep their babies after resurrection. I say why come to earth get a body if we can not keep it after resurrection.? Why do you believe that you are here ? It is our weaknesses or limitations that keep us form God. Think about it a baby just does not pop into being an adult. We do not pop into being like our Heavenly parents. My saying " the essence or purposes of life is growth and to become and to overcome. A baby can grow up and become an adult. We can grow up and become like our Heavenly Father. You could not develop faith if you new everything and if you new everything you would be a God you are not a God but nearther is a baby an adult. To be grateful is to be happy. I had polio when I was two years old. I was unhappy that I was so different than the other children. I was very angry at God my family and friends that I was not more like they were .I would love to run walk and play like they did. Not so for this guy with two full leg braces and crutches. So to be grateful is to be happy. Happy that you chose to come to earth to get a body. To develop faith. To go through experiences of growth for the calisstecticks of becoming like our Heavenly parents. Be happy and know that I am one man that know that Jesus is the Christ the savior of the whole world. Be happy and know that I know that God had some of His children here on this side of the world. Be happy and know that God our Heavenly Father also had prophet's here on this side of the world. Like Mormon Alma Nephi Abenidi Mosiah lehi and meney others. God is good to us when we are grateful and look for the good. Now I have 9 children a auction business tool business and I try to keep my chin up in understanding why I am here on this spinning blue planet. Remember that a baby can grow up and become an adult. Remember that we all can grow up more and become like our Heavenly parents..

Why do you want to destroy her faith? Can't she think for herself? Can't she decide for herself what God wants for her? Is God going to take those w ho are earnestly and sincerely seeking HIS will in their lives, and throw them into an eternal barbeque pit because they chose the "wrong" church?

@@lindalds never trust humans, even yourself, only God. The God of the Holy Bible is real, but you have to read it to make sure you're worshipping the living God and not someone's 'version' of who they think God is.

I grew up only knowing god through the mormon church, as soon as I started caring more about truth than doctrine things started clicking, pieces will fall into place if you want god more than tradition, I'm grateful for the love I don't deserve, and the life I didn't earn.(As a former mormon)

Here is what I know .I know that Jesus is the Christ the savior of the whole world. I know that God our Heavenly Father did have some of His children on this side of the world. I know that the earth was divided geniuse 10 25 ..I know that God somewhat kept this side of the world hidden from the rest of the world. Columbus thought he discovered America but guess what .God did have some of His children here. God did have Some of His children here ..God did have prophets here on this side of the world..like Mormon Alma Nephi Abenidi Mosiah lehi and meney others. What do you think of life ?

@@ronbrewer3493 from a scriptural perspective this idea of multiple locations for the narrative of prophets is not viable, I understand the Mormon view of god working through prophets at ALL times and having children all over the world (everybody), it's a very simplistic view of history and theology, the biggest problem is the bible itself, it has a storyline that progresses over milestones as God reveals and acts within history, this is something that's complex and obviously Joseph Smith didn't understand, I'd say the old testament is ignored across religions that respect Jesus, due to the gospel going out, it's alot of history and context to understand what your reading accurately, for sure the new testament should be viewed with a backdrop of the law and prophets (old testament) the theology coming from the Mormon movement is not compatible to a biblical worldview or a scriptural view of the gospel of Jesus Christ, I'd encourage you to challenge these conclusions and dig in to the bible in its own context. I'm not saying this stuff to offend or out of ignorance.

Ye are the other people sheep. Do not tell me that God did not have some of his children on this side of the world. I know that God had prophet's and some of his children on this side of the world. I am not Mormon Mormon was a great teacher prophet that lived on this side of the world. If as a Christian it is important to read the holy bible .it is also important to read the holy book of Mormon. The writings of Gods true prophets of this side of the world. The holy bible and the book of Mormon truly testifies of Lord Jesus. As a Christian and a believer in Christ it is important to read all the writings of Gods true prophets including the book of Mormon. One more thing that I know is that the living word of God is the mouth of God's true living prophets. The only way to go in the time of Noah was to listen to Noah .very few people listened to Noah but he had the truth. The same is true with Mosus Abraham or any of Gods true living prophets. I know also that you can take the writings of dead prophets and make up all the churches you want and they do. Over 10 thousand diferant Christian churches on the earth today all claiming to have the truth . But only one way to go in the time of Noah Mosus Abraham lord Jesus. Gods love and grace is that he has always called and worked through true living prophets. I know that God our Heavenly Father did have some of His children on this side of the world. I also know that Jesus is the Christ the savior of the whole world and that He did have prophets on this side of the world.

@@ronbrewer3493 you are passionate, I respect that, I don't believe I can point you away from your community, probably family, I think God can reach anyone, we have a similar problem, neither of us knows what we don't yet know, keep your mind open and don't lose your passion for Christ, he won't let you down if your faith and passion is based on his glory, rather than your perceived future exhalation, there's a lot of truth there but there's cancers through the doctrine you accept as a follower of smiths, it will kill you if you can't get around it. It's not about me or you.

Ditto! Yes, you nailed it. Thank you. I was devout LDS for 35 yrs until my eyes were opened praise God! I was blind, totally blind to the true gospel of Jesus Christ, but now I see!!! Amazing Grace!!! Keep making these videos of truth no matter what absurdness is thrown at you. I used to do the same thing and defend the lds online until I had to actually read the Bible and humble myself before the Lord. Admitting I was WRONG....DEAD WRONG was the hardest thing I've ever done. But finding truth has been the greatest thing in my life.

Amen me too, this was about year ago, out of the blue, things I justified and struggled with that I trusted fell away, the bible is complicated, I am so critical after mormonism, jesus is faithful and his gospel is life!

September 27, 2015, I was in the south of France. My girlfriend and I had gone to the sea to watch the super moon eclipse - an exceptionally rare event. All I wanted to do was see the eclipse. There were cumulus clouds obscuring the moon, I said out loud “go away clouds, I want to see the eclipse!“. All of a sudden one of the clouds turned into a hand, and that hand morphed into the quintessential image of Christ with his arms outreached. I yelled out “oh my God!“ It was totally unexpected. I did not hear anything, but I was told “you are loved and you are protected“. Almost exactly one week later, it started raining… a rain so intense I could not see 10 feet in front of me. It was biblical. I was at Ground Zero for the largest flood in modern times in the south of France. We lost everything except for our lives and our car. There were cars on top of cars when the flood was over, there were 11 people dead within a kilometer of us. We escaped the tsunami flowing into our apartment with people screaming outside. For the next few months, we cleaned our apartment while we stayed in a government supplied apartment, and the words “you are loved you are protected“ kept running through my mind. I do not think it is a coincidence that I saw Christ during a super moon eclipse and almost exactly one week later I was at Ground Zero for that disaster. Five years ago I met a beautiful Mormon girl. I fell in love with her. However, we immediately had problems due to her belief that Joseph Smith was a true prophet. The book of Mormon is demonstrably false. There were no great civilizations in the Americas with cows, pigs, chariots, swords, etc. There simply is no evidence to support it. After 120 years of archaeology certainly one pig bone predating 1492 would’ve been found by now. I also know the damage her church has done to her own personal life. her house is a complete disaster because the church keeps her too busy to focus on her own home, she is estranged from all three of her children, among other things. I most certainly do not hold the Melchizedek priesthood! The LDS church is NOT a church of God it is a church of man. My main question to her is “why do you place your worthiness and salvation in the hands of man?“ It seems perfectly fitting to me that Satan would claim to have a brother named Jesus, would have a ungodly amount of money, shiny white temples be oddly averse to the holy cross and that his church founder would be a polygamous liar. Just sayin’

Doctrine and Covenants 84:20-22 talks about how the priesthood holds the keys of the knowledge of God, meaning we get to know who God truly is through the ordinances and power of godliness.

They know the Book of Mormon about as good as the know how to explain the trinity. You pick and choose things that sound contradictory at face value. While ignoring the true doctrine and bible passages that support said doctrines then say we are taking the Bible out of context to fit our views while not providing any explanation for the Bible verse that supports our doctrine. Then you say the Bible does not contradict its self. But you have no explanation for something like psalms 82 it just doesn’t fit so you ignore it hoping it will go away

So I am just wondering why the Bishop? Missionaries answer to either the Mission President or Stake President. Also ask them if blasphemy is the unforgivable sin. Then point out that Joseph Smith stated that he had done more than Jesus Christ. History of the church vol 2

John Morris, l would agree that Joseph Smith's boasting was blasphemy, as was his false King Follet discourse gods who evolved into godhood, and in which men can become gods. Clearly this was his wish. The God of the Bible Isaiah 43.10, Isaiah 44.6, John 1.1 , God is in created , unchanging, ALPHA and OMEGA ! I Praise Him , and His Son Jesus Christ our Lord,Who is and always was one with Him!🙌🕊💙🙏 Praying for the mormons.

I tried once to help my grandma to let her know that the lds church is not true. I couldn’t help her correctly due to understudy of the scriptures. I live at my grandmas and I still refuse to go to the church. I have a really hard time understanding the scriptures to help my grandma. I’m wondering if that means my sins are still great and needs of repentance. Thanks for your help. I’m going to keep trying to understand the scriptures.

I don't understand how 2 nephi 3:5-15 says Joseph Smith is from the lineage of Ephraim, it never mentions him. All the event in that chapter take place 16-18 A.D.

Hello there. I am assuming you are LDS. Are you not aware that Joseph Smith is from the lineage of Ephraim accruing go the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints? Here is something to check out. “Ephraim was the son of Joseph and Asenath and the younger brother of Manasseh (Genesis 41:50-52)…The Book of Mormon records that Joseph of old “obtained a promise of the Lord, that out of the fruit of his loins the Lord God would raise up a righteous branch unto the house of Israel to be remembered in the covenants of the Lord” (2 Nephi 3:5). Further, a “choice seer” would arise from Joseph’s descendants who would “do a work for the fruit of [Joseph’s] loins, his brethren, which shall be of great worth unto them, even to the bringing of them to the knowledge of the covenants which I [the Lord] have made with thy fathers” (2 Nephi 3:7). Many Latter-day Saints believe that they are of the branch of Ephraim, of whom Joseph prophesied (2 Nephi 3:5-16; D&C 133:30-34) and that the Prophet Joseph Smith is the “choice seer” (3 Nephi 3:6)…In the last days, Ephraim’s descendants have the privilege and responsibility to bear the message of the restoration of the gospel to the world and to gather scattered Israel…For Latter-day Saints, identification of a person’s lineage in latter-day Covenant Israel is made under the hands of inspired Patriarchs through patriarchal blessings that declare lineage. Elder John A. Widtsoe, an Apostle, declared, “In giving a blessing the patriarch may declare our lineage-that is, that we are of Israel, therefore of the family of Abraham, and of a specific tribe of Jacob. In the great majority of cases, Latter-day Saints are of the tribe of Ephraim, the tribe to which has been committed the leadership of the Latter-day work.” (Encyclopedia of Mormonism, pages 461-462, 1992) The Encyclopedia of Mormonism is approved by the First Presidency and is considered doctrine of the LDS church. The first article or principle in our declaration of faith as Latter-day Saints states, “We believe in God, the Eternal Father” (Articles of Faith 1:1). I do not think it is accidental or coincidental that this statement comes first in our 13 Articles of Faith. The Prophet Joseph Smith said: “It is the first principle of the Gospel to know for a certainty the Character of God” (Teachings, 345). In other words, one of the foundation stones of the restored gospel is a knowledge of what kind of being God actually is. But not only do we need to understand what kind of being God is, we must come to know God. In the same sermon from which we just quoted, the Prophet Joseph further stated, “If any man does not know God, . . . he will realize that he has not eternal life; for there can be eternal life on no other principle” (Teachings, 344). In His great high-priestly or Intercessory Prayer, the Savior confirmed that life eternal was to “know . . . the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom [the Father] hast sent” (John 17:3).

“as it’s translated correctly”. always a caveat. yet, no criticism of the over 4,000 changes to the book of mormon. heavy doctrinal changes. you’d be surprised to see the reinforcement of the trinity and triune nature if God, as well as Jesus as God from the beginning in the original few works. also probably stunned with the illiterate and hick sounding nature of the first draft. whew. it’s a doozy. i’d be embarrassed .

It’s super easy to go though all the doctrine of the church to find things that look contradictory at face value however this only proves you do not understand what the doctrine teaches.

I am a Christian and a member of the church of Jesus Christ of latter day Saints. I know that Jesus is the Christ the savior of the whole world. I know that the earth was divided geniuse 10 25 ..I know that God our eternal Heavenly Father had and has some of His children on this side of the world. I know that God also had prophet's on this side of the world to teach and direct those of his children that would listen and not find fault with Christ and His true living prophets. I know that Mormon Alma Nephi Abenidi Mosiah lehi and many others were true prophets of God that lived on this side of the world...I also as a Christian know that the holy bible is true and the writings of Gods true prophets. I also know that I have never read anywhere in the holy bible where Christ Himself did any writing except for in the sand so who wrote the holy bible true prophets of God. I also know that I have never read or heard of a perfect prophet. Prophets have the right to make mistakes to learn from them hopefully they do .I also know that the essence or purposes of life is growth and to become and to overcome. Again this guy takes book of Abraham verse out of context. Abraham was talking about his day in that passage back then they were not allowed to hold the priesthood also over the thousands of years before js was born and the priesthood was restored that Egyptian blood was long gone. Asenath also was accepted by God she fasted and was renewed I believe she was accepted into the house of Jacob so this would in fact permit her children to hold the priesthood. Besides in the Bible only the tribe of Levi could hold the lesser priesthood this was restored to js as well in the restoration js was not of the tribe of Levi and js is a gentile but God restored the greater and lesser priesthood by means of js.

Nearly ALL near death experiencers I have watched here on KZfaq we’re told when they asked God to show Himself to them that IF He was to show Himself to them that they would NOT be able to return and that NO ONE can see the face of God and live. So WHAT made or makes Joseph Smith Jr. any different let alone better than any one else? He’s NOT 😤! Lol 🤪.

I was curious after listening to this and prayed about these topics, spending much time in meditation. I believe this video has some misunderstandings. After Christ full filled his work, All things were made perfect through his sacrifice.. meaning, if God wanted to reveal himself to Joseph Smith, .. Christ had made it possible after completing the atoning sacrifice. Christ was and is the bridge for God and Man. The whole Earth was cleansed including all curses. Also, in Isaiah, (the most complex book we have) the context of the scripture was Jesus speaking to his covenant people the Jews. (Isaiah is incredibly difficult to understand, context is critical, and I believe can only be understood through the Holy Ghost) It wasnt God speaking to all mankind. The Jews were an idolatrous people at times, and the scripture read was in direct context to idolatry, not about the kingdoms of eternity. Also, When Christ came to the Jewish people they quoted scripture against him. They misunderstood and theres still misunderstandings when we rely on our own logic. The Pharisees and Sadducees both considered Christ a blasphemer. And they had the scripture, things were so much more beautiful then they could understand. Their pride wouldnt allow them to be taught, they lacked humility. The poor however, having no formal status, no riches were able to hear Christ; the wordly things werent in the way/ We must be taught by the Holy Ghost. And we must be open to receive it. If we have judgements when receiving information we have already blocked the Holy Ghost; we have hardened our hearts, and we will not have ears to hear. We all have to repent and be without any obstacles in order to truly be taught. If we truly want to know all the mysteries of God, we have to meet the conditions to receive; as we become more perfect, we will get more perfect truth. I believe things can be much more marvelous then we can imagine. I also believe Christ is Coming and my eyes will behold the Lamb of God again. I love my fellow Christians and all who worship our Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ.

So I have a question for you I would like an answer to, when Christ was teaching his apostles, and followers, did he go around to all the other religions trying to debunk their faith by telling them what they were doing wrong? Or did he preach truths and lived as an example for them to follow? Fruits of the adversary only tears down. Fruits of God builds up. That being said, if you are so right, and LDS are so wrong, why don't you spend your time preaching what you consider to be true, rather than saying why everyone else is wrong? If you are a Christian, you might want to follow his example.

So did you really have this discussion with the bishop? Because js has what is called a vision. There is a reason for this. Because no man can see God in the flesh and live Bible says it, so it’s true. This is why js seen a vision much like John who seen our day in the book of revelation. Did John really take a time machine to our day and see everything or was he taken away in the spirit and seen these things in his own mind? Let’s be clear God can show himself to whom he pleases but js called this a vision so this means if you where there watching him behind a tree in the sacred grove you would see nothing more than a boy talking to himself looking up in the air. With this being the facts there is no priesthood needed. Another note Adam seen God and walked with him in the garden before he was baptized how is this possible? You don’t get the priesthood prior to getting baptized and receiving the Holy Ghost. Yet God baptized Adam and Eve how could this be? Perhaps it’s because God ordained these men from the foundation of this earth to preform these roles and God visits them to give instructions. But hey I’m just a 38 year old lds who just put your misconstrued Mormon doctrine to rest have a nice day :)

All that is based upon your false foundation of priesthood authority, false foundation of Joseph Smith teachings. Outside of the Bible you get nothing remotely close to the ludicrous claims you stated. And yes I did talk with a Mormon bishop in his house, with a LDS man who claimed to be an expert on archeology, and 3 LDS missionaries. I thank you for taking the time to share, but sadly you are deceived with a false prophet, false church, false teachings that are no where in the Bible, and your views come from LDS sources reading into the Bible these unbiblical doctrines.

The narrator of this channel knows only bits and pieces of the Gospel. He needs to read Ezekiel 37 in the Old Testament where the Prophet Ezekiel states there are TWO Sticks (Books of Scripture), the Stick of Judah (the Bible), and the Stick of Joseph. Protestants and Sectarians have no clue what the Stick of Joseph is. We Latter-day Saints know it to be the Book of Mormon, which was written by Prophets of God on the American Continent between 600 B.C. to 421. Protestants and Sectarians have no clue who the “other sheep” were that the Savior spoke about to His Apostles shortly before He was Crucified and Resurrected. In 34 A.D., soon after those events, the Resurrected Savior personally appeared to His “other sheep” who were then living on the American Continent. The Savior taught the Gospel (which the Nephite and Lamanite people knew some of), healed the sick, blessed the children, examined and APPROVED their Sacred Record, the Book of Mormon, ordained Twelve Special Nephite Apostles, three of whom are still walking the earth, the same as John the Beloved who wrote the Book of Revelations. Again, I will say: Protestants and Sectarians know only bits and pieces of the Gospel. They do not have the Authority to preach the Gospel, baptize, bestow the Holy Ghost, or perform the Holy ordinances of God. 2000 years ago, Jesus Christ organized His Church of Jesus Christ. The Apostle Paul prophesied there would be a falling away, and that happened within 600 or 800 hundred years after the Savior organizing His Church. The Apostle Peter prophesied there would be a restitution of all things in the latter days and that happened with God and Christ both appearing to 14-year-Old Joseph Smith in 1820 and the subsequent Restoration of the Lord’s two Priesthoods (Aaronic and Melchizedek) in 1829 by John the Baptist and Peter, James, and John, and the Restoration of the Church of Jesus Christ in 1830. The Savior Himself named His Church: Thus shall my Church be called in the last days, even The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Well, for a start we can look at traditional Biblical Christianity that encompasses people from every denomination throughout 2000 years. We know that throughout the world there are over 5000 copies of Ancient Greek manuscripts of the NT not to mention around 20,000 of Egyptian and Syrian. Mormonism has no copies of any of their Holy Works. Archeology we have excavated real places mentioned in the bible Mormonism hasn't excavated Hill Cumorahh for a while they have no varifiable a cent artefacts of Hebrew Peoples in the Americas. The reason being the events mentioned didn't happen

I can answer the first one about the priesthood, I will explore the rest later. D and C 67:11- it shows up before those verses, and it clearly states there can be exceptions through the spirit of the Lord.

D&C 67:11 says "11 For no aman has seen God at any time in the flesh, except quickened by the Spirit of God." What does quickened by the Spirit of God mean?

This is embarrassing exegesis. "For without THIS no man..." "This" isn't referring to the Melchizedek Priesthood, it's referring the "Power of Godliness" noted in the preceding verse. D&C 76:11 "For no man has seen God at any time in the flesh, EXCEPT quickened by the Spirit of God." (Emphasis added) I'm seriously befuddled how your supposed slam-dunk on LDS people is this ridiculous argument. But everyone lauds in this echo chamber. Its really hilarious to me.

If God was never created as you say then same would stand true for Jesus Christ? The how can Jesus Christ be the first born if he was never created! We know that Adam was the first man so how could Jesus be the first born? Because God takes intelligence that are good and forms their spirits God does not create these intelligence they are eternal. God gives us physical bodies for these spirits to dwell in while we are alive so when we are resurrected and receive eternal life we will be eternal to eternal like God. Keep studying js teachings you will answer all of this false preachers questions in this video.

Does firstborn to you mean the first to come from God the Father having sex with an imaginary mother in heaven? Does firstborn mean the result God the Father having sex a billions times over a course of time through procreation with a imaginary heavenly wife all being parents of the people of the world bring literally His sins and daughters??? Firstborn biblically means to be first in preeminence, above all, superior in rank. Check Exodus 4:22 Israel as a nation called firstborn, Jeremiah 31:9 Ephraim called firstborn when Manasseh was born first, Psalm 89:27 David is youngest of 8 called firstborn!!! Jesus is called firstborn in Colossians 1:15 NOT because God the Father has sex and Jesus was the first to be born, that is false and ridiculous! @@BereanPerspectiveApologetics clearly Jesus Christ was the firstborn there for being the first created by the father and therefore he was the first in preeminence and has superior rank, all this is true. we don't know how God creates spirits, if you want to believe that God had sex with X amount of wives then that's up to you, we know that before things were created physically they were created spiritually therefor everything in this life is after the manner of heaven. so its safe to say if we have a penis in this life in order to create which is the greatest power of God, than yes it is logical to say that God has that same power. you want to talk about something why don't you explain to me how God who you believe is a ball of eternal energy with no hands or even a brain to think can create something out of nothing. you must believe in the big bang theory, or something.

God calls true living prophets and apostles today not only for what it makes of them but for the good they do for others if they will listen and grow up and become more like Lord Jesus. Love

how can you truly know? that word is touchy with christians and is often a hot button/trigger. Jesus specifically speaks of no marriage in heaven. that they are not given in marriage. our purpose as creatures is to eternally glorify God when we get to heaven. It is very human to be concerned with what you will occupy yourself with or maintain satisfaction in the here after. We must let go.

@@bcreel83 thank you Barbara .there are no marriages taken or given in heaven .I am ok what that .we have temples where those marriages take place here on earth . God is the disiplent and law giver. Kinda like a good parent gives rules disiaplents laws to their children to help to come up right. The holy bible talks in the old testament where God tells the children of Israel to go and destroy whole nations or groups of people..you see I had polio when I was two. I walk around with two leg braces and crutches. I used to be very angry at God and life .I had meny priesthood blessings and meny fasted and prayed for me to be healed but I was not ..i believe god is more intamently concerned with who we are not what we are becoming than He is in healing us of all our cry baby excuses not to make things happen with what we have and his grace . So yes Gods laws.says that marriages must be done here on this earth .I am very ok with that ..

If so which I know that we are more than a physical body. Our spirits come our Heavenly parents. We all lived with them before we came to earth and got our bodie. Again why call Him Heavenly Father unless He is. We are children of real Heavenly parents. A baby can grow up and become an adult. We can grow up and become like our Heavenly parents. I say parents because men and women both keep their babies after resurrection. Do you believe in a resurrection?

The purposes of life is growth and to become and to overcome..first off it is not the Mormon church. It is the church of Jesus Christ of latter day Saints. Mormon was a great teacher prophet that lived on this side of the world. I know that Jesus is the Christ the savior of the whole world..I am a Christian and a member of the church of Jesus Christ of latter day Saints. I know that Jesus had prophet's on this side of the world. Like Alma Nephi Abenidi Mosiah lehi and Mormon. All prophets have to grow up in understanding faith development and grace to .if we all new everything we would be Gods we are not Gods but nearther is a baby an adult. Truly the essence or purposes of life is growth and to become and to overcome. God our Heavenly Father is the law giver .just like me as the Father of my children and my wife are the rule makers law giver maker .God our Heavenly Father it the Father of our spirits. We are more than a physical body if we are eff more than a physical body we're did our spirits come from. From our Heavenly Father. The father of our spirits. Why call Him Heavenly Father unless He is and He is the law giver and it is His right to do what He wants .Here is another things I have never read anywhere in the holy bible where Christ Himself did any writing except for in the sand so who wrote the holy bible true prophets of God. Ever since this spinning blue planet was created and the worlds of our Heavenly Father anytime we as real children have desired to want to grow up and become more God has always called true living prophets to teach and work with us as real children of a real Heavenly Father. Everything you are saying acutely proves that the church of Jesus Christ of latter day Saints has it..I am only one and the Father of my children that does not mean that there cannot be more fathers. The same is true with our Heavenly Father He is only one and the Father of our spirits and will be and has been for all eternity. Just as I am only one and will be forever and for all eternity the Father of my childrens physical body. I have a very beautiful relationship with Lord Jesus and I know that He is the savior of the whole world. I know that Mormon was a great teacher prophet of God that lived on this side of the world. Grace I love Gods grace and love and yes we are savied by grace just as a little baby is saved by the grace of a good responsible parent..A little baby cannot even wipe its own bottom. I am happy for the saving grace of my mother and Dad that helped me grow up. I am also savied by lord Jesus grace and found not make it back to our Heavenly Father without the grace of God our eternal only one Father of our spirits. You could not develop faith if you new everything and if you new everything you would be a God you are not a God but nearther is a baby an adult. Let's grow up and become more like our Heavenly parents and be savied by Lord Jesus grace by loving and listening to His true living prophets and apostles on the earth today. Yes lord Jesus is as the holy bible says the only begotten of our Heavenly Father. This is one of the things that gave Lord jesus the power to brake the bonds of death so that we all will be resurrected. Why come to earth get a body if we can not keep it after resurrection. Truly the essence or purposes of life is growth and to become and to overcome. That baby can grow up and become an adult. We can grow up and become like our Heavenly parents. Again it is not the Mormon church Mormon was a great teacher and prophet .this guy reminds me of those who found fault with Christ and crusified Him. You can take the writings of dead prophets and make up all the churches you want and they do. This guy is so full of garbage. Oh yes a baby can grow up and become an adult. We can grow up and become like our Heavenly parents. I will forever be the Father of my children that does not mean that there cannot be more fathers. .what a bunch of garbage. Yes Joseph Smith was a great teacher and a true prophet of God. Again I am only one and the Father of my children but that does not mean that there cannot be more fathers. The same is true with our Heavenly Father. Why limit our potential. That baby can grow up and become an adult we can grow up and become like our Heavenly Father..our Heavenly Father is only one and the Father of our spirit that does not mean that there cannot be more fathers in heaven to .there is no limit to space. Why try to limit God and our potential. God is not God if He cannot say some time after our resurrection and this make take many years. But after our resurrection look there is nothing over there because of my grace love and love I give you power and authority to go and make yourself a world. God is not God if He cannot do that. Love Gods grace and love. Let's all grow up and become like our Heavenly parents.
