If the sandals are a single sole and not a platform then you should be ok with those, only maker is simply the closest affordable alternative to a So Kate that’s readily available.

These are worth buying if you know you can handle wearing them, I wouldn’t recommend these to someone who wasn’t prepared to break them in or wasn’t confident in a steep heel. By protecting them do you mean the sole or the shoe in its entirety? If it’s the sole I’d recommend taking them to a cobbler and asking for the Casali soles, they look the best in my opinion. To protect the whole shoe I’d recommend being careful, watch where you step and be mindful where you’d choose to wear these. To keep them clean I take a baby wipe to the inside and I use a lightly damp cloth to clean the outside. I store these in a glass cabinet now but I used to store them in their box in individual dust bags so no harm could come their way.

I think I've just always had the ability to do so, there is no real trick I have behind it.

Practice, practice, practice! Have your wife start with 3-3.5” heels. Do nothing but wear them around the house- preferably on carpeted floors! Then work up to walking on hardwood/ hard surface floors. Once she’s got that down, graduate to 4-5” heels and start again with carpeted floors then hard floors around the house. Within a couple of weeks/months she’ll have worked up enough ankle and calf strength along with great balance to be able to start walking outside and doing everyday things in high heels outside of the home. Try it! It works 🎉

@@kitkinder6439 Thanks shes been trying years, can do boots all day and night and some shoes with straps but typical court shoes which shes tried for work just arent happening and she reverts to flats mostly
