This 72 year old homeless man said that his brother had killed five of his family members, including their own parents. He also expressed a lot of anger about how other parts of his life hadn't gone as planned, and how many people had mistreated him. This is both a beautiful and tragic conversation. Hope you emjoy!

My Testimony:
I grew up in church, but instead of knowing Jesus, I only knew religion. This led me to live a very hypocritical lifestyle. By the time I was in college, from the outside looking in, it seemed like I had everything together in my life. I was in the military, getting paid to go to college. I had plans to become a financial planner and expected to make a six figure income shortly after completing my degree. I had joined a fraternity and had access to all the alcohol, drugs and girls that I desired. In spite of all of that, on the inside I was broken, depressed, and empty as I searched through the world for something to satisfy my void.
I radically encountered God in a rock bottom moment and everything in my life changed from the inside-out. Instead of pursuing my own life plans, God rerouted my life into full-time ministry. After joining a local church, I began to voluntarily serve for several years. Over time that led into a church staff position opening up for me. As a result I’ve had the opportunity to wear many hats including: administration, overseeing media, sound, & lights, leading worship, preaching, leading outreach ministry, and many other tasks that have arisen with ministry. While being faithful with the small, the Lord started to open doors for me to preach and equip the saints at other churches as well.
God has expanded His reach through the ministry to include not only many different states in the U.S., but also several different nations. Via in person encounters and social media platforms including KZfaq, Facebook, and Instagram, we're reaching the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
God has given me a beautiful wife named Abigail, and blessed us with two lovely children named Nora and Will. Abigail is currently on staff at our church as the Worship Pastor. Our hearts desire is to love God, love others, and walk as Jesus walked.

I once saw a homeless person at a 7/11 and I started talking to him. I asked him if he believed in God and he said yes and he straight up asked me if I can cast out demons. Unfortunately, I got nervous cause even though Ive had demons cast out of me, Ive never had experience with casting them out of others. And I told him I was sorry, but Ive never done that before but I asked if I could still pray for him and he said yes. So I prayed for him that God would rescue him from his situation and that he would eventually find deliverance. I regret not stepping out in faith for this person. But Im very glad that you have the boldness to do this for others. Keep it up, its inspiring me to do the same!

Not always do you want to cast demons out of someone unless you know they're repenting truly and want to follow Jesus and do His will. They must be let known they have to pick up that cross and follow Him, they must count the cost.. if not you could bring more demons worse than the 1st!
@kindnessheals
@kindnessheals Ай бұрын
@@firebird14420 Jesus cast demons out of people without making them repent or be baptized or anything else. They did not have to do anything to deserve getting demons cast out. The admonishment about the demon returning with others is about what the person does AFTER the demon is cast out. You don’t just cast the demon out and then leave. You can stay and talk with the person afterwards and explain the gospel and help disciple the person.

I prayed 35 years for my relationship with my son to be restored. God answered that prayer. I prayed for my friend who was dying of a liver virus to be saved from death. To see his unborn baby grow up. To be well enough to go back to work. To give him a life worth living, and God did it. I prayed for help when I got sick, my husband kicked me out of the house. I was sick, homeless, lost my house, my job, my health, faced cancer diagnosis. I cried out to Yeshua. I had successful cancer surgery, hip replacement, and remarried my husband. Now live in a beautiful home and all was restored. When I was younger I was in need of financial help. I sat on my couch said a prayer for help and before I got up and took 3 steps prayer was answered with $6,500. Sometimes prayers are answered quickly, some 35 years. Keep praying, keep asking. Praise our heavenly father and Jesus Christ

That's the same thing I thought of. I had a stroke in the 8th grade in 2013, and I had symptoms afterward, like losing my sense of taste and touch, and I had seizures. Thanks to Jesus, who healed me when I was at my lowest. I didn't know God or Jesus, even though my parents said we were Christians. They didn't seem to follow Jesus truly, and I didn't think Jesus was God. I know I am still young at 23, but I know that if I can stay focused on God, and know that if God is with me, who can be against me? I can go through the storm because of God, and without Him, I probably would have gone through the suicidal thoughts or even found joy in cutting myself.

That part you said about self-pity is so true. Satan's temptations come in so many ways. Pride is the root sin. Self-pity is a twisted form of pride, that takes us down a black hole. On the other hand, when we are sinned against, which happens in this world even to little children, if we can find it in our heart to know our Creator is our greatest ally, then we can draw near to Him, and instead of self-pity and bitterness, He will give us sweetness and a purpose and makes us partners with Him. I do agree that also the willpower to persevere and help yourself is absolutely a great key to perseverance, but you also can't deny the FACTS that his days are literally filled with uncertainty, each day as he relies on unstable cirsumstances to live, and even with him helping himself, A community denying his suffering also, obviously keeps in to a certain level of success he can gain for himself. By helping others, you help yourself and support the environment around you. Though I also can't deny, of course, how much laws and Police have stepped into such matters now that it makes it more frightening to *help someone*. I think bringing awareness to his situation (and others as well) and using that to generate a platform to garner support would be a fantastic idea. 👍

I don't understand what that man's going through, but he reminds so much of my father and how he felt the last year of his life, and he was only a year older than this man. My dad, even at 73, had so much potential and he could not see it through his fears and anger. He was so separated from God, and so angry at himself, that every day was just another day waiting for death. I feel for this man, but his anger is feeding itself. The most telling part is how angry he is with people he shouldn't be angry at, like the woman from church. She was just trying to relate and he tore her down and pulled her into his misery. He's so angry at his brother, for things he'll never be able to fix or change. All of his anger is so external. I truly believe that kind of anger is an absence of Christ in most purest form. I hope some of this message will at least resonate with him later so he'll open his heart and let in the love of Christ.

I was abused as a child, I was a run away lives homeless on the streets, starved, stole food. Later on drugs, sex, then alcohol I took on to ease the pain from the life I had to live through. It wasn’t until I could no longer carry the burden of the wrong I had been dealt and the wrong I had committed. We all have a choice, even if we are wronged we have a choice of what we do in the choices we will make. We can make choices that will heap sin upon sin or we can choose to forgive and work through those hurts and pains to obtain healing through Jesus Christ of Nazareth. EVERY PERSON can stop where they are and make the better decision so the remainder of their life can be lived for a purpose not for a dead end. WE have free will and can choose to make decisions in the flesh that will carry in the spirit. I love the homeless, I once was homeless. I understand why they’re there and the brokenness they go through. Praying for these folks you had the blessing to bring the good news of the gospel to. 🙏 WHEN WE KNOW BETTER, WE DO BETTER.

One thing i've learned throughout my spiritual journey is that it's ok to be angry with God and it means you care. I've been angry with God about my life and things before and he's responded to me. He's helped me find the things that are causing me to get angry and helped me work through them. Other times, he's told me to man up and get over it. It really varies but the point is it's ok to be angry with God as long as it's constructive and not just insulting.

We need to pray that the government diverts those dollars to use it for caring for our own generationally born American citizens 🇺🇸 especially the boomer generation who can't afford rent - many are forced to be homeless now because they can't afford a place to live - rental costs are so high. Some are lucky go to work but can only live in their car or truck. I volunteer at a homeless shelter so i see many walks of life of all ages of good hearted homeless people. I recently spoke to one 80 year old gentleman who was a scientist in his day who traveled to universities giving lectures. I'm glad you have found God through Christ... but you should still be angry. Greedy people have taken too much, and I am angry our churches have allowed this to happen. I'm not angry at God though, not even a little. He gave us all the tools and knowledge, and we Christians, like we really had something for a little while. But now, everything is so gross and everyone worships money and self. Geedy men and women have done this to you my friend, not God. Be angry.

@@geoffreyporter530that’s a personal journey u would have to explore my friend, IF you’re truly interested. I can assure you He is very real as the person nearest you. I have experienced him and do, so I know for a fact. But I understand that statement seems like an opinion when u, yourself haven’t experienced it. I pray you do. Those good works don’t matter if you’re doing it to make u feel good. Most of the time we do. The Bible says only what u do for the kingdom will last! I I truly hope God reveals himself to you and guess what? U will need NO tangible proof bc the proof will be how he changes you! And that’ll be ur personal miracle noone can dispute and many ppl won’t believe you, but YOULL know for urself. God bless❤️

Everytime someone asks why God allows them to go through pain and suffering, I bring them to the story of Joseph. He didn't understand why his brothers betrayed him, he didn't know why he was sold into slavery, he didn't know why he was falsely accused of rape, he didn't know why God kept him in that prison. But it was all God's plan to bring good from evil. And Joseph's story really resonates with my homeless brother in this video. Because the story also shows us what true forgiveness really looks like. Never once did Joseph tell his father what his brothers did to him. He had forgiven them fully, as if it never happened. And he needs to forgive his brother, no matter what he did. Because hatred is a heavy burden.

Most of the homeless people I’ve met admit they are homeless for a reason. They did not follow the Lord’s path in their life and ended up on the street. However, there is assistance for those who truly want to reform their lives. Consider the example of Job in Scripture. Suffering has a purpose in God’s plan. 😊😊😊

Thank you for this video because it revealed that I have pride and I’m also selfish because I’ve been hurt a lot in the past by people and I always remembered this person did that to me and I always had selfpity for myself. If you had not made this video I would not know that, I thank God for you Nicolas!Currently every time I have to go into the hospital because I had leukemia a few months ago at the age of 24 I’m now 25 and I’m happy to say I don’t have leukemia anymore so praise God❤ but to the point the people at the hospital, always make fun of me and I find it hard to try to forgive them because they shouldn’t be doing that yet they keep doing it and they get enjoyment out of it which is demonic. I have to go in every other Thursday a problem I always had is that I’m insecure like super insecure and I have pretty bad anxiety around people it’s noticeable and it stopped me from even trying to find a church so it’s a real problem for me so please pray that God would remove that from me that’s not his purpose for me!!! This is a type of rare conversation that you always want. Notice how most the time, each person is respecting the other and letting them speak. Listening to one another. Gods already working in us when we give the time to each other to listen. That's what happens when we stop holding each other, the god in us all, accountable. When we forgive we leave respect and love to open within our lives. Giving rise to repentance, our minds change when we share ideas and experiences. God Bless anyone who has the potential of seeing this light

That was so awesome what God gave you to share with those folks and that man who'd been through so many terrible things. I never realized that self-pity is a twisted form of pride, but you are absolutely right. This doesn't take anything away from the hell someone has actually been through, but you fully listened to him and acknowledged his pain.. What you said about how taking our mind off of ourselves and putting it onto Jesus - that is the way out of that hole the devil so commonly traps us into - that's so true. It's the way out! Jesus will deliver any sincere believer from their pain and torment and replace it with peace and gratitude. He totally delivers! 🕊🙏✝

Lord didn't we do all these great things in your name? Didn't we preach your word? Heal the sick? All these wonderful things in your name? The the Lord says depart from me as you never showed true love, while another group will say "Lord when did we do these things in your name?" when you feed the poor you feed me, when you clothed the poor you clothed me, for how you treated others is how you treat me. Something to think about.
