I got goose bumps when I see those amazing goals scored by BOBO，it reminds of my childhood, he was my hero in those old days. Best striker even in Italian golden generation, most efficient goal machine, ahead Inzaghi, Piero and Motella in ranking, in the top top class only along with Ronaldo (the real one ) and Batistuta. His physical strength and finishing ability were like combination of Drogba and Van Nistelrooy Thank you for taking my request and creating such an amazing video! He deserves more video tributes!

@@nervocalmo8957 no, can't compare. Don't get me wrong Inzaghi was brilliant and had a phenomenal career. But Vieri could do so much more... there's a reason why Vieri always started ahead of Inzaghi for Italy throughout 1997-2004.

A beast indeed. One of the best players I've ever seen, and yet no-one remembers him. Hard to understand how Italy managed to waste the World Cup in 2002. Vieri, Inzaghi, Totti, Del Piero, Montella, all in their prime.

Pietro Gennarini yeah South Korea bought off Moreno, everybody knows that. Still I can’t help recalling that with Italy leading 1-0 Trapattoni pull out Del Piero and in Gattuso. Games during the group stage hadn’t gone that well either - besides some scandalous decisions by the ref in the match against Croatia. I can’t ascribe the waste of so much talent to Moreno only. Trapattoni had his rather big part in that disaster

The referee and that miss by Vieri. Italy would have won the world cup that year. They have by far the best squad. And Vieri was the best in the world at that time. He had already scored 4 goals at that stage. It was sad when they were knocked out by the referee

Sooooo happy and proud to have him wear the Nerazzuri shirt. I am French but when it comes to football, I usually tend to support Italia! Let's say that as in 2006: my duty is to go for my country. However, my pleasure is to stand for Italia. Bobo Vieri was my idol along with Batigol. I miss these good old days...

Besides the fact he was simply a world class footballer, one of the best in history imo, he was literally leading the front line with aggression, passion and determination. His defending skills are underated, he won possession multiple times during matches

My first football hero, quite simply. I owe it to him that I started following Juventus and Italy's national team closely. He is Italy's best pure striker of the last 35 years (that is since Rossi no longer plays, Baggio was more of a #10). I still curse Luciano Moggi for selling him to Atletico.

@@fabiorossetto2826 ma non solo per quello. Lewa è avanti sotto ogni punto di vista. Statistiche, completezza tecnica ect. Te mi dirai che vieri giocava in un campionato più difficile. È vero. Ma lewa per un periodo era probabilmente il numero 1 al mondo. È una delle migliori punte della storia. Bobo, ripeto, era formidabile ma lewandoski è un'altra cosa. D'altra parte non si segnano 5 gol in 9 minuti a caso

they didnt, the refferee delayed that game soo long, until france scored, then he blew the wissle. But Italy has a history of getting stolen from advancing or winning in tournaments. ( Korea02 vs Korea, euro 2004 vs sweden, 2014 vs uruguay, ect.)
