My grandpa was Donald W. Thompson, he directed and produced this movie, sadly he passed away in 2019, I think it's so cool that so many people found Christ through this movie, even the main character found Christ through this movie. God bless

saw this movie when I was college student in Iowa 1974, now I am 70 and this movie was low budget but really cool. Had a major impact on me. Got baptized two months later and welcomed the Lord into my life..

I gave my life to the LORD in the spring of 1982 after watching this movie.

I remember watching this during a church retreat, when one of the cabins we were staying in had an old TV and VHS with a bunch of old tapes lying around. Scared the crap out of all of us, and left an impact that lasted a lifetime. So glad the entire series has been preserved here.

I have not seen this movie in over 20 years. Fantastic movie. I'm glad You Tube has made this available to watch.

I saw this the year it came out. It was shown at my church youth group and it had a profound impact on me. Watching it NOW in 2023, and seeing all of the prophesy being fulfilled before our eyes, I can only conclude that we are very very close to the hour. Don't delay accepting Jesus gift of Salvation NOW!

I watched this movie for the first time today and I remember the opening song in the church service from something else (or occasion). Anyway, I'm a born again believer washed in the blood of Jesus and the movie still gave me chills when "unity" was searching for the girl! And when it was just a dream and she had to relive everything....Ugh! I was screaming at her!

I saw this movie in junior high, and even though I was already a believer it scared me to death. Now I CAN'T WAIT for Jesus to come take us home.

Wow, I was born in 1972, in catholic Ireland. Thank God I was saved as a child. This movie is so timely. He's speaking about the mark, so spot on . I'm so ready to meet the Lord. The spirit of antichrist is everywhere. No truth in anyone. The love of money has taken this world over.

My Mother told me about this creepy movie about People being left behind after the rapture she watched when she and my aunt watched it at a church camp on a reel projector in the 1970's as kids. She really wanted me to see the series. She kept saying "Left Behind", but I'm pretty sure she confused these movies with the Left Behind movies with Kirk Cameron. When I found this with the information she gave me about the movie this came up. I showed it to her and she was shocked that it actually hit dvd due to it being on a reel like a 'camp movie'. Incidentally if anyone has ever used that word "campy" for a film that's literally where the name came from; old reel films that you'd watch in a summer camp or church camp, etc. that really wouldn't be expected in theaters and so forth. A lot of them if I am correct were actually made for such events. I'm really glad this one made it. I got to watch something with my mother she watched as a child in my 40's. Back in the 1970's the movies made for suspense and horror were waaaaaay different from what have today. Of course... gratuitous retarded violence and sex isn't my thing.... anymore. I was quite the connoisseur of horror movies once upon a time until I came to The Lord. You know what's interesting though? I was so desensitized to that crap I could watch almost anything and not be phased by the content. I remember in my early 20's my buddies and I would have conversations and hoo-ha's about "The Death Scenes". It's interesting how after we come to The Lord that those kinds of things are absolutely repulsive. He really does change the mind and the heart.... if we let him.... and don't fight The Holy Spirit. Anyways... thanks for putting these movies up. God bless!!

I love this movie. Especially when the poor girl wakes up and realizes that it actually happened. And the song,"Life was filled with guns and war." We used to sing it in my fellowship, and I still sing it today after 45 years. Dear friends, don't give up, as Andre Crouch would say, "It won't be long, soon we'll be leaving here. We really must hold on, one can now see the signs on an enormous scale ( The Russian/ Ukraine crisis) etc.

Watched this movie in church prolly 40 years ago. Never noticed they had a mistake in the movie till now. When those people were in line to get the "Mark" one couple had a small baby which wouldn't happen. God would have taken that baby.

I remember about 30 years ago somebody gave me a copy of this tape I watched it at home with them and I showed it to my youth group and not tell movie night was born we bought a lot of the videos and started showing them on a 19 in TV that was shutout in the vertical was messed up later we ended up buying a projector having up to 50 kids on a Friday or Saturday night watching Christian movies having snacks and pizza and giving your life to the Lord. The majority of these kids were boys and we're friends of those who went to the public school most of their parents didn't attend church at that time God did a wonderful thing he can do it again.

Be a "good citizen", alter you body and soul forever, and we'll all get " back to normal life" sound familiar?

I was raised in a bit of a doomsday cult and spent the better part of my youth preparing for armageddon. I finally came to my senses. I am so so so thankful to those who dropped crumbs that led me to the light. It's so good to be free of this thinking.

My grandma made me watch this movie when I was younger & it terrified the heck out of me. I was so scared that I would wake up one morning & they all would be gone.

I remember seeing this in 1976 as a six-year-old and understanding it because I was a a pastors kid and giving my life to Jesus as a six-year-old and now all these years later, I still enjoying it, and the second part of distant thunder and the rest of them as wellstill very relevant. We are getting close to the return of Jesus Christ.

I watched this series of movies in the mid 70s with our church group. It put the fear of God in me then. I watched again last week and was amazed how many things are coming true NOW. Well, it's not surprising as it's all laid out in the Bible. Keep looking up!

The mark of the beast will be given to people as a sign of worship to the beast. Not just to buy and sell. It's a decision to reject God and worship satan. But good movie!

These old end time tribulation movies are my favorite ones. No special effects. But I think they’re the best. I have these four. The thing that stinks is they never finished the fifth and final part in the series. I have 400 maybe more Christian dvds.

I don't know if Patty Dunning has done any interviews about the movie or not but for the most part all the actors were excellent. (Keep in mind this is a 70's movie.). Someone said she is a physical therapist but maybe she is married to Steven Dunning who is a physical therapist in Iowa. This movie deserves high remarks for being well made.

This was the very first Christian movie I had even seen when I had just gotten saved back in August 9th, 1980. I was only 15 when I got saved & Then I saw the other two movies that go hand in hand with this movie. The next is Distant Thunder & Image of the beast. These movies (back in there days) scared me but good. Now I Love Dr Tim LaHaye & Mr Jerry B. Jenkins versions of these movies in there “Left Behind” series. The Greatest Books & Wonderful movies Ever made. They Still stand the test of time. All of these movies. The “Left Behind” series are so Perfect for this day and age (12/20/2022) but for me, these 3 Movies were my very Beginning of my Christian walk with the Lord. I’m STILL WALKING & SERVING MY 👑 KING 👑 42 YEARS later 🥳🎉👏🏼🥳🎉👏🏼🥳🎉👏🏼🥳🎉👏🏼

2024 and still the best rapture series ever.

My church had us watch this when I was a kid. I was terrified. I think that's when I realized what the fear of the Lord was as a kid. The song stuck with me all of this time as well.

This movie scared me when I was kid, and it still haunts me!

I still have the series on VHS. I’ve watched the tapes so much I’m still surprised they still work (yes, 65 year old who still has a VHS player 😆😆😆) it’s old but the message is true and still relevant. I wish a new series could be made based on scripture, not some Hollywood nonsense.

I saw this as a kid at church for movie night and got saved that Sunday my cousin as well. This is one movie that should be on tv and definitely one to have for collection so it'll be seen by those who just may get left

This movie traumatized me as a child. Anytime I couldn’t find my parents for more than a couple of minutes images from it flashed in my head. The scariest part is the notion that even someone who thinks they are saved could not be, and as a young believer it left me with an unshakable feeling of doubt and subsequently, terror. It’s classified as “evangelical Christian horror” for a reason. I’m glad that the church has generally moved away from conversion through fear (in other words, coercion), especially when it comes to young children. Looking back it doesn’t sit right with me.
