I’m Catholic but I think the muezzin and the recitation of Quran is absolutely beautiful. I have become so disappointed by the current state of the American Church. I’m not at church to be entertained at a concert for two hours. I go to church to commune with and worship my Creator. I grew up in Nashville because my father was in the music industry and mostly Christian. I grew up and went to school and vacations with the other families of the biggest acts on the radio and I became so disheartened seeing how people would forsake all of their morals and values that they sing about because of the entertainment business. It cheapens the things of God when you try to squeeze every penny you can out of your audience as opposed to what is sufficient. I love that Islam refuses to take part in practices like this no matter what the current culture says to rationalize changing traditions.

@@glorious8429 I have read the majority of the Quran but not all of it. I have also read the Holy books and scriptures of many other religions. I studied divinity in school for a while and world religions have always interested me. As a Christian I feel like I actually have more in common with Islam or at least the same worldview and morals as my Muslim brothers and sisters. More than I find in common than many who follow Judaism though we 3 are cousins in a sense tracing back our spiritual family all the way back to Abraham. Islam at least recognizes Jesus as a great prophet who deserves respect which is more than can be said of most Jews especially in Israel where they spit on the Christian Priest and Nuns in the street. Though Christians and Muslims may not believe all the same things, I believe we should be each others greatest allies because atheism is spreading fast in the world today and a lot of them seem to be in positions of power. They want nothing more than to see both of us wiped from the world because they don’t like our recognition of the divine and the humility it requires to accept your place in the world as a created being. We need to stop fighting amongst ourselves and stand together against evil and respect each others right to worship how we please. I will defend your right to worship and inshallah I hope my Muslim brothers and sister would do the same for me. Allah yassahl ‘alaik brother.

This reminds me of an incident that happened about a year ago when the Egyptian Qur’an Radio expelled a famous reciter because he made a mistake in pronouncing one of the letters of the Qur’an while reading one of the surahs.

I have my suspicions that possibly the original Aramaic scripture flowed in a similar manner, albeit not as perfectly as the quran, but obviously... translation and transliteration has rendered that version all but null

You need JESUS CHRIST, there is no other way to heaven! This is not a biblical Christian, you must learn to distinguish born again biblical Christians from fake "Christians"! You can't even do that!
