Christina and Lisa have a extremely wide vocal range, they have belted many of the same notes so it's time to showcase them! 💕 💕

In the cover of "Payphone" by Maroon 5, during the chorus they sing together the main vocal, while the other four do the backing vocals. But ya, they were much younger... It would be even more awesome now.

In my opinion Lisa is better at the high belts (5th octave)because she sounds less strained and it just sounds more natural to her which makes sense since she was literally born with an inclination to the higher register and Christina has said that she was “born to sing low” and had to work on her higher register. But yeah they’re both good in their respective registers (Christina’s middle register is 😍😍) but it sounds like second nature for Lisa haha

christina’s ‘all too well’ is one of my favorites solos of thelm like all time. she has such a good tone in her belts and lows as well, her voice is very versatile

aricimorelli right! i’ve never heard a bad note from her tbh and her tone is so good in all areas of her voice. she has the most versatile voice in Cimorelli imo and has the best understanding of her voice

darthestaaar Yes I’ve been saying this for years. She can sing a solo in any area of her voice and it sounds so solid, where as the other girls have one area of their voices thats stronger

@@KK-rq1qm no kidding. She slays low notes, low belts, mid-belts, upper belts, falsetto AND head voice. And the crazy thing is, she uses most of her range in their live performances too (except her head voice) and she's pretty consistent

Christina’s voice is just so different, I don’t know what it is. I think it’s more richer than everyone else. Or maybe she sings with a full voice. But it’s unique and so beautiful

Also i think its impressive that christina is already gitting the same high notes as lisa! As Christina used to only sing mid to low notes and rarely song higher notes but like a year ago i believe she started practicing high notes and shes alr amazing at them! i think Christina could go the third-highest right behind Lisa and Lauren!

Amy has belted G#5 before, and Dani has belted G5 too, so that means it's actually Lisa-Lauren-Amy-Chris&Dani BUT in terms of belting in their live concerts/performances, only Lisa and Christina have belted G5s

@@fiveh3340 that’s because in recordings they can cover the errors but on stage it’s reallly hard for the low singers to sing a high note perfectly without error but their still great!

They are both amazing belters! However, and just to state my opinion, I think Christina's high belts are "hit" notes (idk how to express it in english, she hits the note and then goes down), while Lisa sustains her high belts in long notes or starts a phrase by directly hitting the note and keeps the whole phrase over her passagio (F5). I'm not trying to belittle Christina since I think she has a better middle range / low belts (A4 to C5), the best actually between all the sisters imho. But, or they have chosen not to showcase Christina's high belts as much as Lisa's, or they know who's the strongest upper belter.

I think it's because Christina is a mezzo? so her lower belts are better, and her mid belts (C#5-E5) are not that bad. I understand what you're saying though because Lisa does phrase in the upper 5th octave really well!! I think there's no doubt that they know who's the better upper belter (Lisa) because Christina only started regularly doing these crazy notes after their sad girls club era. even then, Lisa had to encourage and push her to sing her part in Pretty Pink. btw, when you say Christina's lower belts are the best among the sisters, is Lisa included (as in, do you think her lower belts are better than Lisa's)?

Five H thanks for clarifying! It could be because of her fach. From a technical point of view, there’s no doubt both of them are amazing singers and both belt really well. However personally I do think that Christina’s belts between A4 and C5/C#5 are better even than Lisa’s but that’s because her low belts come across as richer and I really dig that in that range, she is almost full chest in those notes while Lisa mixes more. Of course that’s also why Lisa’s so comfortable in the fifth octave, she mixes from very early on.

@@beautifly92 ah yes that makes sense! And Christina definitely has a more chesty belt too. I love it when the both of them belt together though, that's pure gold, especially if Christina does a lower belt while Lisa harmonises with a higher belt!

I find Christina goes up there when the song requires a tad bit more of a dramatic climax. G5s are Lisa's playground so when the song requires more of a "punch" it only makes sense to get Christina to deliver the note.

I love these videos so much because it shows you how much range they really have and not only that but how well they all execute at the top and bottom of their range. Everyone sings good in the middle of their range and usually either the top end or the bottom but to nail the very top and bottom of your range is so impressive. I had no idea how beautiful Katherines low notes were till the other day 👀 I feel like Amy gets to show off her range a little more than the others it’s like oh ok you real comfortable down there lady bass?! Lol Jk but then she’s up at the top with Lisa 😍 but it seems like they all have that capability and of course it can’t all be put in one song so these are great Thankyou.

1:57 i think those are Eb5s not D5s, shes hitting D5 after the Eb5 but you highlighted the part where she sang the Eb5s as if they were D5s, just putting that out there
