Kai studied ballet and jazz when he was 8. He only learned hiphop and other genres during his training in SM. Kai is actually well known for his interpretative dance. Kai and Taemin are actually best friends way before SuperM. they were trainees together, and during Taemin's debut album he featured in one of his songs and had a special performance together. If you want to see his signature dances please watch ICU dance performance, Deep breath or the TenxTaeminxKai performance. And the voting that he won for best kpop dancer. It was not voted by fans. Kpop idols actually voted for it and he won 3 yrs in a row.

Kai was originally trained in ballet but he’s indeed very versatile and can pull of anything! I’m really looking forward to the debut after all this out of the world teasing 😩 thanks for reacting fam! 🙏🏼

Kai said he payed attention to every detail of this debut, especially the theme, performances, and the outfits. This Gucci ambassador has his unique philosophy of beauty. As for the vocals, I already knew that he can sing well since I've been impressed by his parts for many times in EXO's recent albums (even Superm's), but I still have no idea how far he can go when it comes to vocals. I can finally find out in this coming album so I'm excited!

His Deep Breath performance at MAMA 2014 is what started the new wave of contemporary dance in k-pop. The ICU performance is also insane.

kai is actually the one who made contemporary/modern dancing a trend in kpop performances again. The trend of male idol solo dance was completely changed after he performed his first solo stage 'Deep Breath' on exo concert and then later at MAMA Award 2014. and check out his other performances like 'i see you'

Well, he's not being called the Dancing Machine, Idol of Idols, Dancing King for nothin, even experts have high respect and recognize him, we're not being biased, it's just the fact, he has learned ballet and jazz since he's 8 years old, his contemporary dance is amazing and he can do all type of dancing perfectly, not to mention his sweet voice 👌👌👌 also, it's not like Kai wears the fits but the fits wear Kai cause he can pull off anything that he wears 😂

Yeah Kai is originally a jazz and ballet dancer :) he’s incredible this album has been anticipated for years and he’s been working on it for a year i can’t wait to see the outcome. Michael Jackson is also his big inspiration and he loves rnb music so it makes sense he will be branching into that. Him an Taemin are also besties ahahaha.

Kai is a technically trained dancer in ballet and jazz, that's his foundation. Bye the bye the dancers in Ride or Die were executing some beautiful Graham Technique. Kai has been voted by the IDOLS themselves reason why he TOP for 3yrs and also the famous choreographer (forgot his name) who choreographed monsta'x twice and known group..he chose KAI and BP Lisa as top dancers of the industry as dancer who can pull and do any type kind of dance

He literally started the Contemporary Trend in Kpop by dancing to "Deep Breath". When everyone was doing hiphop & pop & lock stages, KAI is there dancing to "Deep Breath" barefoot onstage. From his debut teasers, solo stages on year-end award shows. He's a jazz & ballet trained dancer. It's his roots.

kai is the most versatile dancer in kpop in my opinion! it's almost like he is his own genre. i hope he gets more opportunities to show it now with his solo career. Oh and his dancing roots are in contemporary dance actually, he started ballet and jazz when he was 8!

Kai's fashion is always on point. He loves clothes and is the brand ambassador for Gucci. There is also some performance videos he did for Gucci. They are amazing as well. I would definitely recommend Kai ICU performance, Deep Breath, Confession, Spoiler, and my favorite the Ten x Taemin x Kai performance.

He has liked dance since childhood. When his father recommended him to learn piano, he didn't want to. He still likes dance until now he is one of KPop's best dencer.

Kai really handpicked these songs and tailored the album to his liking and his taste. All these songs, they're not just a group of tracks sm threw his way he picked them out cuz this is the sort of music he loves, he hasn't delved into production and songwriting yet (although he has songwriting credits with EXO) but this project was literally his baby he wanted to be in control of every aspect, from music to styling n fashion to concept to filming to this entire visual album idea to even editing! He has never done anything half-assed and does not follow trends but sets his own. The entire contemporary/ballet dancing in kpop was actually something that he popularized shortly after debut, its crazy. He's phenomenal, and just getting started!

KAI has a lot of viral dance fancams when he's performing with EXO tho. Tempo, The Eve, Love Shot.. and recently he went viral in SuperM's song Tiger Inside. I don't think there's ever gonna be another KAI. He's just ART ✨. When KAI said that every song was title-worthy, he really meant it 😭 I liked all the songs too. Thank you for the reaction!

Besides his dancing skill... his vocals always been one of my favorites 😍😍 his honey voice always melts my heart BTW if you want a kai x taemin stage I suggest you look up pretty boy by taemin ft. Kai stage SM is the house of visuals and vocals😌 also my favorite family SMTOWN (what people in SM entertainment are called) But overall kai solo debut is NOV 30TH !!!!

Kai is very versatile when it comes to dance: he can do every style! Funny you say you knew him for more hiphop style of dance but Kai originally trained in jazz and ballet since he was a child and only started hiphop in his teens when he joined SM. Now you see why many say he is the best dancer in kpop!! His album comes out on 30th November. All 6 tracks are RnB as you heard.
