Diane Lockhart is an iconic character. Christine Baranski is a complete badass, in comedy and in drama.

DIANE LOCKHART IS SUCH A LEGEND. Christine Baranski is simply iconic in the role. It's ridiculous that she hasn't won an emmy for it yet.

I adore her! Her ability to act so different characters so convincingly, from Maryanne Thorpe in Cybil (although I really think that should have been called "Maryanne") to Diane is absolutely amazing!

I'm pretty sure you've seen her in more than that, look at her impressive resume on imdb, she's had small parts and guest starred in MANY very successful movies and tv shows.

TiMalice2009, I think the good fight is better then the good wife, even though I did like the latter. I like the reference to current issues, I think that makes it interesting because it's unusual for reality to be reflected like that!.

I'm in the 3rd season and the dynamics changed dramatically...I miss some of the people from Season 1 and 2... Justin being one of them, and Erica Tazel too...

I was one of the die hard fans of The Good Wife and after seeing the first episode of The Good Fight I am sure I would enjoy this just as much. I have a HUGE PROBLEM with the way CBS is presenting the show to us though. Everyone does NOT have cable channels nor the latest gadgets to stream programs. If we start paying for programming on what is now "free" television very soon the ONLY way to view quality programming will be to PAY FOR THE PRIVILAGE. Just notice how fast the other "free" CHANNELS will start to offer their better shows for a price!!!!!!! WAKE UP PEOPLE!!! They CAN NOT do this if we DON'T PAY for it because they are NOT in business for you to love them MONEY is what really turn their dials!!! As much as I would love to see this program I REFUSE to be led like a lamb to my own SLAUTER. SHAME TO CBS AND THE OTHERS THAT WILL TRY THIS GREEDY MOVE.

thats a real shame that thats happened. I was very surprised to hear that in the US its on an online pay for service. In the UK, where the Good wife was pretty popular, its shown on channel 4 a major free channel

Well, there are legal alternatives. I am not paying for that on demand thing and I am watching the show. It is BETTER than the good wife.

razmataz13drums, That's because mainstream channels in the UK are funded by advertising except for the BBC of course which is funded by a licence. What gets me is that we have to pay for a TV licence whether we watch BBC or not!.

Ruth Butler, Well that shows how narrow minded you are. It's meant to reflect the present, From what I've seen most of your TV reflects right wing attitudes not left wing. We can't always have programmes that make you comfortable at the expense of others. And it seems to me that the right seem to spend the majority of their lives spreading hate and bile, look at the way you are towards Obama and hillary Clinton. Racism and sexism, you need to teach your men some manners seeing as I see that they're the majority of people spreading hate on social media and in the world (right wing terrorism) so grow up!!!.
