I really wish that they would have had younger individuals Included in this conversation as well. 23 young married female here, and I felt like there were a lot of blanket statements about the younger generations made with no recoil or representation from the opposite perspective/struggles in discipleship. Really great episode and I agree with a lot of what they said, it just seemed like a one-sided conversation about the generations.

When I was a young girl I would sit on the floor to listen to my mom and other women talk, I loved it. I was just mentioning to a friend that now a day there's no one at least near us where we can go so sit with to hear and be encouraged.

This song crushed my heart. As I listened, I saw a panoramic view of my life. I was taken from my mom when I was 7 years old by the courts of California. I was institutionalized for 10 years. I suffered many horrible things for those 10 years. Then when I was 18 Jesus revealed himself to me and I was saved. Im 70 years old now and have had a blessed life. Jesus helped me graduate from college, gave me two beautiful daughters, and 4 grandsons. Jesus was my mother, and my father, and my brother and my savior. I have lived in the goodness of God. He has been faithful.

I feel the urgency as well. So blessed by listening to this today. This scripture was in my mind as Christine shared- “holding to a form of [outward] godliness (religion), although they have denied its power [for their conduct nullifies their claim of faith]. Avoid such people and keep far away from them.” ‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭3‬:‭5‬ ‭AMP‬‬ Thankful to know the power of God that transforms, heals, delivers, restores, redeems and saves!! I will continue to freely give what I have freely received in Jesus’ name! Bless you ladies for pouring into us!

I love this! My Grandmother and My Aunt poured out and continue to pour out to me, my mother introduced me to Joyce’s ministry when I was a little girl, and she listened to her ministry until she passed. As a young woman I continued to listen to Joyce the anointing Holy Spirit has always been on her! Holy Spirit has used her to move ME into position, to grow me, and stretch me! I’m pouring out to my children my, nieces, my cousin. This has blessed me! Now is the time for me to move into a new position. We must stand in the gap!!!

I can appreciate this episode, but I do think that there is a bias towards the younger generations here. Let us remember that Jesus was only 30 years old when he went forth in his ministry. I know many older saints who walk in religion but have no intimacy with the Lord. I also know many older saints who have years of experience being lukewarm and who need to humble themselves and be taught, just like the younger generations. In the other hand, I have seen teenagers on fire for the Lord. True wisdom comes from the Lord, not from years alone. Solomon is a great example of this. Thank you for this lovely discussion. My prayer is that all saints, regardless of age, would humble ourselves and seek the Lord’s face and his wisdom.

I love Chris Cain’s boldness and honesty. Yet, I don’t think they answered her question about the polished pastors with a particular look preaching at concert-like church services without any of God’s power. Where’s the power like she asked? Perhaps leaders need to hold other leaders accountable instead of being buddy-buddy not wanting to offend their pastor friends. This trickles down to the entire body of Christ.

read and study GOD'S WORD everyday, spend time with our LORD GOD, praying GOD'S WORD back to HIM. Acknowledging our HOLY SPIRIT, talking to HIM, learning to hear HIS voice. You see the HOLY SPIRIT is JESUS'S SPIRIT, That's why the WORD says HE is in you and will be with you. HE is a person, HE is your teacher, comforter, advocate, because JESUS is not walking on earth now, that's why HIS SPIRIT is in us, as we become more like JESUS each day, that is the anointing, it's not just the preachers, it is all of us who have accepted JESUS as our LORD and Savior. I hope that helps. ❤

05:06 Why the skull? Can anyone explain, please? What does it represent? I understand it's the back of the mobile phone and it's serves her during storytelling. It's seems a bit odd. Maybe I'm just too old fashioned and do not associate skulls with God. Thank you and bless you all.

You could talk about how to come through the crushing, the older ones could be filled with the spirit before telling others what to do, the older ones could come in a gentle, kind spirit and not with the intention to simply find someone to correct so they can feel they did something, they could be approachable. Im sorry but ive struggled with elders just like joyce did when others at the church told her she couldn't preach. It was the elders in isreal that lead the entire congregation astray. The whole head was sick. This is why our generation dont trust a lot of elders. Some are not filled with the spirit, some are really mean and their wisdom is in the culture and not coming from the spirit. I've been very misled by Elders. The holy spirit would tell me something that went against what the elders said and what about David? He said he had more wisdom than all of his elders in psalm 119. I want to also put a big emphasis on the importance of elders. They are very important which why I'm saying all this. They really do need to listen and stop thinking they know they answer to eveyones problems, they may know some but we need the Holy spirit from you and not just your opinions, when especially we know God has said something to us. Trust that God speaks to us to. Just because God deals with you in one way doesnt mean he has that same thing for us. The women in the brown thank you for saying that sometimes you dont slow down to listen or make yourself available. No one else came from that perspective. Its always " yea those young people need to attitude" and weve heard that all through the church. We were suppose to be exhorted encouraged and corrected through love not impatience, anger and maliciousness , or a finger pointing attitude. Im not saying any of you are like this, I'm telling you where Ive come from and how hard its been. 😢 No one wants to feel they are alone on this walk but where are the Godly born again elders that are really still willing today? Willing to admit the truth and humble themselves before our generation?
