Kristin Wiig is part of a very small group of people who were just PERFECT at being on SNL. (Dan Aykroyd, Eddie Murphy, Dana Carvey, Phil Hartman, Amy Poehler, and Will Farrell are other examples. Kate McKinnon is the current version.) Every line reading, every movement, every piece of timing by Kristin in this sketch is so perfect at getting a laugh out of this material.

You've got another that f-ks Chinese spies in return for giving out classified information, and they still have the mothrf-cker sitting on the *House Intelligence Committee* as if nothing ever happened. And then you've got a Democrat senator that passed top secret intelligence to her Chinese spy driver for *20 YEARS,* and once again, not a single Democrat raised an eyebrow. Again, all totally fine.

Check out Heder on the Fly on the Wall podcast with David Spade and Dana Carvey. He said he had incredibly bad anxiety on SNL, especially right before the cold open. Sounds like when Bill was onstage, his inner Stephan was nervously pulling his hands inside his sleeves the whole time.
