UCLA really has helped so many amazing gymnasts really find their happiness in life and really learn how to enjoy life :) it's so heartwarming to see them help all these athletes not give up on their dream

Amazing team, amazing coach that never gave up on a injured athlete, and Peng-Peng doing the unbelievable work (6yrs) to come back to a perfect 10 and lead the Bruins Women to a NCAA championship. -There is no way they could have won it without her.

Huge respect for this young woman. Having had 5 knee surgeries, including reconstruction of both ACLs, I know the heart and effort it takes to recover. What an inspiration.

I cried at the end of the 2017 season bc she was done. I was elated she was given an extra year, andlook what happened! Watching those championships this year was like watching a movie. I knew Oklahoma was gonna win. They were unbeatable. But then a funny thing happened in the 3rd rotation; if u haven't, watch their 3rd & 4th rotations. You can literally see the change take place beginning with JaNay. After that, the energy switched and their performance should go down as 1 of the greatest comebacks ever. It was spectacular. I will miss watching her so much. She is single handedly responsible for my renewed 💘 watching this sport. Ive always loved it, but thanks to Peng, i have rediscovered NCAA gym, and never not have a meet to watch for 4 months. Will miss her so!!!!! Xoxo

Peng Peng is such a huge role model and an inspiration to so many young gymnasts and people she drives for the best even though she is hurt she is still inspiring people and for her to win the championships shows you she can and will keep going even though it might not be in gymnastics she will make her mark where ever her life decides to lead her I myself want to thank her for all the inspiration she has given out through the years she means a lot to me and my career as a gymnast for her to hear that bad news through her career and still work the same as any other gymnast in that gym means a lot so could if everyone take a second to stop and think of how a great person she is

I got caught up in the 2018 UCLA gymnastics team somewhat by chance watching sports with my elderly mother. The whole team was so fun to watch, especially Lee. Learning about her perseverance and then seeing her finish up at the championship the way she did has to be one of the most under appreciated stories in all of athletics. Thanks to my mother who passed away at 89 during this time period for enjoying a variety of sports and unintentionally making me a big fan of these overachieving young women!
