On behalf of all the people that like to read a book or snooze or just watch the ocean, quietly, on their balconies… please DON’T pack a portable speaker, especially if you’re not a believer in your tunes being on at a low volume. Maybe pack some headphones to get your in-cabin music fix

oooo i agree with this. tunes stay inside with doors closed. i was on a flight the other day sitting in front of someone who DID NOT have headphones for his movie he was watching off his phone. 😣

Just a note regarding capacity. I have been onboard when there were over 2000 passengers, and didn't find it annoying. The boat is definitely livelier, and you have to be more on top of your reservations, but given the design of the boat, there were still a number of public spaces where one could get way and be chill. Of course, the pool on a sea day was not one of them :)

Def recommend you to buy the bar tab and look for perks. I bought mines and they gave me $100 more towards it, plus JLo sailor loot when I booked it. I’ve also heard that you can buy bottles of your choice of drink while onboard. I am too cruising in the beginning of September which I’m super excited

VV recently announced a FREE $300 bar tab for sailings embarking November 2022.This is in addition to their special rates thru 2022 if booked by the end of August. No, it isn't the open bar you wanted, but it is $300 in free drinks!

I Took a recent Virgin Cruise During Spring Break and it was amazing. The Pizza place was always open late so odd yours closed at 1am. The music was great and different from the norm and that is why Virgin stands out more then other Cruise Lines The food was the best I have ever had on a Cruise but will agree the Wifi and App had issues but when working it was great.

Try to go on the longer cruises, like the Barcelona ones, you can book the same restaurant multiple times then :D I'm on Valiant Lady 4th Sept :D

Sailing in the Mediterranean(!) on Valiant Lady in October. Super excited! We were concerned about the lack of an unlimited drinks package, but our itinerary has only 1 sea day (I think), and we even overnight in Ibiza, so I really think it won't be an issue.....and we booked when they were running a $600 bar tab promotion as well. We'll take it easy on the Moet. 😁We've cruised *almost* exclusively on Royal Caribbean, so we're looking forward to the change of pace and the adults-only atmosphere.

HIIII! oh man i just got off this ship again and i dunno if i have all the answers. lol. night club depends on the crowd. after 2am on good nights. dead at 1am on dead nights and wraps up thereafter thermal suite is FIRE. a video is about to drop on that. i highly recommend it.. especially the mud room

You can only dine once at one of the 6 restaurants on the shorter cruises. On the longer ones you can eat the same place twice. I just got off an 8 day sailing with them and my friend ate at The Wake 3 days in a row! I do agree that the late night food options get boring, really fast. I think they've switched their hours up as the club closed at 1 and pizza at 1:30.

Yes, on IIRC five-day sailings and up, you can book three times (plus as many standby seatings as you want, go at 6-6:30 and you can almost always walk right in).

Hey, love your channel and have been subscribed a while. I don’t know if this is something you’d want to do, but would you consider making travel card content? I think it would help with channel growth if people saw you using travel cards; and maybe some more general content like going over international flight regulations to know, what you bring on flights, how to plan trips, etc. I think it will pull a travel interested audience. Also, I’d be interested in knowing how far $20 goes in different countries.

Im going on a cruise to Cozumal on sep 11th to 16th. Very exciting! Booked last minute as a solo traveler because I didn't have to pay for 2 people like normal. My only concern is im an introvert with no emotional support extrovert lol

I was just on Resilient this week. You can go to the specialty restaurants as many times as you want. They always have extra empty tables for walk ins. I forgot about brunch at The Wake. I've cruised with RC on many many sailings. I'm Diamond+ and close to pinnacle. I so enjoyed VV I don't know if I ever want to go on another cruise with kids. This adult thing is AMAZING. I thought the food was absolutely amazing. I wish they had more ships. I think Barcelona is calling my name. My favorite place to sail is Alaska. Who knows if it'll ever happen with VV. In the cabins you can control your own temperature but tbh, it varies everywhere!

I definitely agree with you on the late night aspect. They hype up the “party” and “adult” nature of the ship and then shut everything down really early. It’s kinda odd. I’ve had more late night entertainment and food options on Norwegian and Celebrity. Their room service is pretty delicious though so I guess that makes up for it to some extent. I also hated the bar tab and lack of a drink package because I love going on a cruise and not thinking about any additional expenses. The music was shockingly bad on the cruise! It was so much EDM and it felt like they were just playing the same songs over and over again. I was so surprised there was no house music or other kinds of music. I went when there were 750 people and it felt a little empty. I’m going for New Year’s and now I’m concerned it’s gonna feel packed. :/ I’m sure it’ll still be fun though.

@@neianeguinhausa I’m also planning a trip to Europe on VV. For NYE, the ship was full, but nowhere really felt crowded unless you wanted that feeling. e.g. downstairs in the Manor (nightclub) or up on the pool deck during Scarlet Night and the NYE party. The only place that got regularly busy was The Dock, but you could always grab a drink and wait for some seats or a bed to open up. It’s actually a lot more fun when the ship is more full than on the sailings with less people in part because there are more activities.

Very helpful! BTW, I watched this video because I thought your hat had personality. I am looking at booking the Valiant Lady now to sail in 24. I'm sad to hear about the music, no bar package, and the lack of late night eats. I hope by my sailing they work at least some of that out.

They do offer a pre-paid bar tab. Buy $300, get a $50 bonus.. It can be shared--not everyone in the cabin has to purchase,

Can you elaborate on the drone information? My husband travels with his drones everywhere. Are you just not allowed to use them on the ship, or did you mean they will not allow you to even come aboard with them? Thanks for all the info. Oh boy, he is not going to be happy if that is the case-ughh!

We had a Sweet Aft Suite in Rockstar. It was an amazing experience by itself. We couldn't justify the extra expensive for only a few more things. We did the bar tab and barely spent more than it, especially with all the alcohol you get in your mini bar. Happy Sailings!

Drink package on other cruises are way more expensive. I felt the bar tab was great. You should know how much you drink and not over spend. Also the workout classes best not to book and go stand by. I was able to get into and it still was not packed. I take my speaker on all cruises. Almost all cruises make the djs use playlist.

I love the bar loot,. My hubby does not drink alcohol and on other cruises they make both of us pay for unlimited drink pkg being in the same cabin. Insane.

I have a video out about drinks.. but short answer: anything non-alcoholic (that isn't a "specialty coffee or a fresh pressed juice etc" is free). water, soda, regular coffee is free

We booked for later next year. I'm worried with all i have seen in you tube that not getting a suite will mean we struggle to see shows, no room in the pool, etc etc. I don't care about the drinking side so much because i will drink but not much (sealegs enough to worry about) but access to things seems limited to ro k stars.
