I'm not religious but I still absolutely adored your and Joel's voice over. To see someone actually speaking of what Christmas means to them and being so passionate about it is pretty unique in the vlogging world it seems like.

I love and appreciate your voice over so much! It's nice to hear that side of Joel. Marriage, especially when you have children, is so hard! I find there are months that go by that my husband and I bicker and one day I realize we haven't put any effort into each other because we put all our effort and energy into our kids and life. Putting your spouses needs first is the best way to a happy marriage. Glad you had a great Christmas, God Bless!!!

This is by far my favorite Christmas vlog, of all the vloggers I follow. I love that you set the camera up so we could see all of you, I love the voice over. I also love that all of your children, open a gift, and actually play with whatever it is, they don't just rip through it all and that's it. They actually enjoy what's in front of them. They are grateful, appreciative and so humble. You've done an amazing job, this vlog has got me in the Christmas spirit already, and it's not even Halloween yet! I'm binge watching all the older vlogs I haven't been able to watch. You have a great family, and just watching this video, my husband and I have decided to be a little selfless this holiday season with each other. We've had a rough patch, a sassy 4 year old and a new baby with some health issues has taken a toll on our marriage but watching this video has truly inspired me to try harder this holiday season. I said something similar on Ellie and Jared's video, but I just....your message was just such a GREAT and such a needed GIFT this Christmas. I am one of those "loners" this Christmas, my poor health prevented me from going home, and working through the poor health on a spiritual level has been a bit difficult for me this year. And so to have that reminder that His Spirit is still with me in the trials, still with me in the loneliness this Christmas, it's just given me a small burst of grace that I so needed to keep pursuing Him. I know that videos sometimes like this bring out some not so lovely comments, but I just wanted to say thank you for your passion and your love and your courage in sharing HIM, the TRUE Reason for the Season, with all of us. I actually got engaged on Christmas Eve and I am thrilled to now be able to call my boyfriend of over four years my fiance! I am rewatching this before the 2015 christmas, so I know you probably will not see this comment, but I still want to comment. The voice over that you and Joel did brought me to tears. This christmas I feel like I have been thinking more in material terms, but after listening to your words about Jesus Christ, I feel so much closer and feel so secure in the fact that Jesus is the reason for the season. It made me re evaluate everything and I feel so grateful for everything right now. And you said about being nice when you don't feel like it, it made me think about my sister. She is leaving for college next year 5 hours away and we have been bickering a lot lately. When hearing about what you said about being kind, I have a motivation to go out of my way to show more compassion to my sister, as she is leaving for college very soon.
