The ornaments are great. It's the connector strip we're having trouble with. We have to print 3-4 to get 2-3 that work and do not break. We also had people ask for the words to be replaced with the year, and that was an easy change. Overall, very happy with the file.

I biught these files and have successfully made some of these. I have modified the files and will make many more in the coming days. They are much nicer - and more impressive - than my previous ornaments.

Hi! Just bought the large ornament file to holiday gifts, but I can't get the "elastic" part of fit at the top of the ornament having cut the 3mm files. What thickness would you recommend I cut (3mm,3.5, 4mm) using Glowforge Proofgrade Medium Draftboard (1/8")? TIA

Thank you very much for your interest. I accidentally shifted the material while the machine was running. There is no such problem in the original file.

The "elastic" part breaks on me every time I try to stretch it around.

Hi Norman. Could you please specify the thickness of the material you used? It will be more durable if you make the cuts parallel to the pattern of the wood.

I haven't tried these yet. But my thought is like my father-in-law used to do to bend wood is steam it. Some wood is dry and very brittle. But it would help to know what wood the author used.

Hello. I am using an Xtool D1 Pro and cannot get the laser to cut the file. It comes up with "were set to fill, but weren't closed. These have been removed as they cause problems". Do you know what could be the problem? Thanks

Hi All lines in the drawing, except words, should be set to "Line" (not "Fill").
