I also have a almost 13 year old daughter, and I am very Blessed to have her because she is very, very helpful. I'm currently 13 weeks pregnant so it's good to be able to have great helpers, my 8 year old helps out alot too. Jessica just take it smooth. You did a great job.

I appreciate how you let your girls help you decorate. My daughter runs for the hills when I get the Christmas decor out because I turn into a raging OCD decorator. So excited to decorate my house!!! My hubby and I decided we will make it a tradition to decorate on Black Friday each year. I'm itching to put everything up now but we are hosting thanksgiving so I think it would be too much. However, I think I'm going to put a tree up in our bedroom... I can't wait I love Christmas time.

Oh my gosh...Madelyn and Kensley got so big the last months. I really didn't reconize this til this video. Madelyn just looks like a grown up beautiful teenager. And well done to the Girls, especially Madelyn, that they helped you so much. And I really love that you stayed with the neutral theme and "less is more". It's beautiful and look cozy and great. I lately got absolutly overwhelmed by all this whimsical, candy cane and totally over decorated houses in all the decorating videos which came up. I'm from Eastern Germany and even from the Ore Mountains which is the crazy christmas area of Germany where wooden christmas decorating are handmade. We have special tradition here. Nobody will decorate this early because decorating has to wait til after the sunday before the 1st advent. Because on the sunday before, we remember our dead family members and it's told that you'll get bad luck if you decorate before this day end. Funny thing - my grandmother and mother always stays up til after midnight to start decorating because they're so excited about decorating for christmas.🙈🤦‍♀️ I always decorate on the monday after.
