I cannot imagine buying new ornaments each year. I have a collection from my childhood and my daughter’s childhoods. Putting up the tree is always a walk down memory lane.

I was thinking the same thing. Why?! would anybody buy new ornaments every year??? If you have all that extra money, give some to a non profit at Christmas or an angel tree or something. Influencers and their first world problems 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

I always have purchased Christmas trees from Walmart, but last year we purchased one from Home Depot. The same price, but a lot fuller and more light choices. Our ornaments are all sentimental and now that our daughter is 20, it's so much fun to go through our ornament box each year. I absolutely love that nativity set ⭐

I fell in love with that nativity as well. My inlaws heard me mention it and have been gifting me a piece of the set each year for Christmas. It will be so much more special this way and so sweet to hand down to one of my kids one day. ♥

#2. Everything looks wonderful. The gnomes are cute especially when little ones are in the house. My decorations this year is black and red Buffalo check cabin feel. Almost done with it, just in time for Christmas. One year in the making.

Can I mention how much tree skirts are !! Sometimes you have blankets laying around or have 5$ blankets at walmart you can add two to make it more full. I had two fur blankets and placed both underneath to give it a cozy look for no money since I had them

I use vintage Christmas table cloths around my green tree that I inherited from my mom. For my white I bought a beautiful gold shimmer 3 yrds of fabric and a sheer with round iridescent glitter over it - after Christmas it was on sale for 2.99 a yard

Very much enjoyed this decorating video! Loved the little tent for your kids! I'm not big into gnomes but really liked the wreath u created with one. Love the hint of using the timed cordless light sets!! Are you going to talk about how bad it is when you flock your tree ? It’s horrible I did it last year and o as dust everywhere in my home, I pulled my tree out this year and it’s just bad with all the fux snow inside my home

Please store you things in plastic bins. Field mice got into my storage one year, and ruined thousands of dollars of belongings. It was devastating! They will eat through almost everything, especially thin plastic and fabric. Hard plastic bins will prevent much heartache!

Beautiful tree!!!! I love how you can change it for very little money. It brought back memories of the tree I used to decorate for my children when they were little. It had berries, big pine cones and multi colored lights, but the best part was the ornaments. They were all Disney characters and I hung them on special hangers called ornamotion. They had small motors that rotated the ornaments. All of this was connected to a music box that was hooked to the lights and it played Christmas music that the lights kept time with. It was magical 😊
