That is exactly what I did. I have a metal painted tissue box from the 30's. I took them out of the box.😊

I love that Mike knew where the lamps were. i know he helps a lot but it also means he’s paying attention. I’ve subscribed for a long time and i’m so happy you found each other.

Amanda, they couldn't have picked a better person to do the displays, They both turned out wonderfully. The fact that Mike knew which lamps you were talking about and the location of them is just proof that he actually pays attention and has interest in what you're doing. That's priceless. Seeing the dogs heads bop up and down while you were eating dinner was too funny. And lastly, you make me want to move to your state, it looks so beautiful and peaceful! I've lived in northern and Southern California my whole life, so that's saying a lot for me. Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

We moved here in March from the Adirondacks and couldn't be happier! It really is a beautiful state. The weather is phenomenal. We don't miss Northern NY at all - especially now that it's winter! We've had several days in the mid 60s this past week while my friends in NY are shoveling snow. It's especially fun to see Amanda going places that I recognize!

You have such a gift for display. The Christmas entry is so nice! For your new old tissue holder, just take the tissues out of the box in a stack and lay them in your holder. You don't need a box inside it :o)

Amanda, you can just remove a stack of tissues from the large box and place them in the thin tissue box. It will work. I do it myself. Your Christmas display is perfect. Love it. Love your whole Vlogmas month.

Sometimes with the vintage tissue boxes you have to take out the tissues from the cardboard box and put them in the vintage one✨😊

I've had meatballs slow cooked with sauce and grape jelly and it's glorious. The choir should have sang again when you popped the top to that jelly 😂😂😂 Zooming in on the jelly cracked me up. 😂😂 Love your channel!

I used to do things really well like that and people took advantage and I hit burn out- so have your eye on your goal and try to be specific to you- just make sure your reevaluating along the way so that you’re doing things for your cause.

Try chili sauce (usually next to the cocktail sauce in the condiment aisle) and grape jelly. You can cook meatballs or cocktail weinies in it. It's delish!!

This is Grandma from Texas. We never put the box of tissues in the tissue holder. We always removed tissues from the packaging and placed in decorative dispenser. You could use like 1/4 to 1/2 of tissue

Take the tissues out of a smaller cube box and put them in the holder. This works great for the Florentine tissue holders as well.

My husband and I eat the meatballs for dinner all the time. I make a side of rice to drizzle the sauce over. Pigs in a blanket are a go to for dinner also. Thanks for validating that we’re not totally crazy.😅

Amanda, I had the same problem with a Hollywood Regency Tissue Box. I simply cut the bottom off, removed the extra tissues from the bottom and it worked great. Good for home but not for the booth. Also, I spray painted my box of tissues before I opened my box because I did not like the bright colors showing through the small openings. I actually sprayed several boxes at one time to avoid the hassle later. You will have the same issue . . . with your tissue {s}. LOL.

Next time you make meatballs in the slow cooker, try mixing them with jellied cranberry sauce (from a can) and chili sauce (in the glass bottle). It is delicious!

Leave them all inter-leafed together; and YES they will dispense magically, one by one, a new one springing up into place XO I used to think Tissue Box covers were just extra fuss for nothing; but now I like them, they add a little decor and permanance, and it is nice to just keep it filled and not run out! Sometimes wtih a cardboard box, you can not tell how low you are getting...and then NO MORE!
