Thank you for posting this film. It is August, usually in July I watch Christmas movies(crazy family tradition) This one reminded me of the movie, Pete's Christmas with its repetitive theme, but this one struck my heart, made me laugh, cry and remember how difficult my parents divorce was and how each of them tried their best each Christmas to make me happy. May they rest in peace as both of my parents are long past away. This film just gives you hope and joy and want of love. Nothing is better than that.

Instead, after Kevin says he’s survived a lot worse, it was supposed to show a flashback of him walking around the trees and he finds a bush with berries. He was so hungry and decides to eat them. Once chewing them, it’s not long after that he collapses to the ground and has trouble breathing, thus revealing they’re poison. So just like what happened in “Groundhog Day”, he basically died and then came back to life when the day reset.

Well his son is ensuring that he is appreciated and that is well worth it.

In case you didn’t recognize it, it’s likely an altered version of Groundhog Day. Bill Murray was the darkest when he couldn’t bear the thought of living the same day over. This one was filled with meanness towards anyone he had issues with. I saw it in the past and this time it was early morning and I fell asleep. I don’t remember the ending so I have to watch the ending again.

There should be a Groundhog's Day movie about every holiday.

I read the comment below, and I was thinking the same thing: This is the Groundhog DAY Christmas Movie! LOVE IT!!! There is another one that is similar that repeats, but this one is funnier and more heartwarming, and I really got a bang out of it!! Merry Christmas, in APRIL! LOL WE still had a very brief short 10 minute snow shower in Gresham yesterday! Shocked my DAD shocked off. It was 48 degrees out, but very cold in the upper atmosphere, CRAZY! It is 2022/23 and we have had CRAZY bursts of snow like this since November, some times it sticks for a few hours, sometimes it only coats the houses and bushes for a few minutes, or it might accumulate to an inch, stick overnight and melt. But this has been going on since November, December, January, February, March and yes APRIL too. Some of our deciduous trees are not even budding yet as they are so confused. Since it has been unseasonably cold and wet intermittent sudden crazy snow storm mixed with rain, why not watch Christmas movies in APRIL? I love it. I am a native Oregonian, we just make the best of things, that includes the wacky changing weather too!

Thank you, I really enjoyed this. This is the type of holiday special I really enjoy. You really can't miss with a well acted and directed version of Groundhog Day. Murray's will always be the best but this one takes second. I enjoy comedy with my with the schlubs that screw uphe and know they did. Elf, I'll be home for Christmas, Scrooge and A Christmas Carol - nearly any version is great. I really love the takes where there is a spoof or sideways version like Eric Idle's "What About Dick?" If you haven't seen this one and enjoy a bit of risque humor with our Christmas cheer, this is the movie for you. So man more. I'll see if I can make a list for next year. Planning ahead. During dinner, he thought his Christmas day couldn't be more screwed; his son suddenly wishes it was Christmas every day. After that, it was a regular Groundhog's Day. Kevin learns new dance moves and can actually sing. Don't let the caroling fool you.
