Hey all,
I have another Christmas project from our #scrappychristmaskrafts collaboration where Karolina and myself will do a Christmas project on the 25th (or around there lol) of each month. It’s a fun way for us to use up some of our Christmas stash plus have fun with all of you.
Of course I had to use a NEW collection for this project lol. It’s just so pretty. This is a 5 3/4 x 6 1/4 folio album with a 1/2 inch spine. Let me know what you think.

You should join some crafty groups. That’s how I’ve met friends all over the place. Especially on Scrapbookers of Country Crafts Creations on Facebook. 😊

OH I wish this had showed up in my feed months ago, I had to do a Christmas Folio for a Swap and this would have been perfect . I'm a new subscriber just joined today because you showed up in my feed. I have a paper pad with some of those designs but not all of them. I searched the website you listed but they are sold out but they do have single sheets so I think I'll get them and do this Folio as a late Christmas present for a dear friend 😊 thank you for sharing.

Even though you think your videos are a mess I truly enjoy them and look forward to them. I love the matting you do because it looks so much nicer than a 1/4 border. And I vote with the tab added to the cover. TFS ❤

Tiffany, you always make me laugh! I like the little Merry Christmas on the cover, unless of course, you could find a little Ho Ho Ho. The layered flower embellishment on the cover is very clever. I like it all! I'll have to try a waterfall like that. TFS ❤

Love the look of the floral cluster on your cover...beautiful! The velvet trim on the spine looks very sophisticated. OO-oo-oo! Love how the pinecone and greens add to the cover cluster, yet is strong enough to stand on its own...clever idea! While I'm not ready to start Christmas projects, it's good to know this video is here. Thank you!

Love the folio and love the triple pocket die! Your front cover is gorgeous with or without the little tag! I hope you two keep this going and going year after year....great way to use xmas paper all year and be ready for the season and or craft sales! Thanks for sharing!

Hi Tiff, I really love this album. You mentioned increasing the spine width to reduce the bulk. So, if I do the spine at 1 inch would I need to make any other adjustments in the album itself. I like matting as well so it makes sense to increase the spine.

I would 3/4 or 1 in and you will have more room. You’ll just have to make sure that you have big enough cardstock to wrap it all 😉

Those pockets are 🔥 I just did the cover for a quad folio and haven't completely decided on the pages but I know I HAVE to incorporate that triple stitched pocket! Missed ya! What do you recommend to cover up or fix when the paper has split on the edges of the folio? It’s my first try at making a folio, loved it and your tutorial is awesome! I’m planning to gift this folio so I would like to have a decent presentation without starting all over. I have made subsequent folios (more gifts) and haven’t had the splitting problem with those. The quality of paper really makes a difference! Thanks!

It depends on where it splits and the type of album. If it’s on the cover I add a bead of glue under the split and carefully seal it back up 😉. But if it’s like an album that I’ve inked and is vintage I just ink the edges of the cover and it all blends in lol. You can also wrap it with decorative paper, trim, or black tape (if it’s black) and that will conceal it too. But I NEVER throw it away or start over😜

Really cute folio!! The decorations on the cover are lovely and I do like the Merry Christmas on the little tab. Can't wait to watch the tutorial! BTW, how did you do at the craft show??

Oh and the craft show wasn’t that busy. They should’ve did more advertising but I got back my money for cost of the table plus got enough to cover what I spent there 😂

Aww this is adorable! Onto my list it goes. I really like your cover too. As far as the little piece on the tab, I would take it off because it's kinda glaring. BUT if you had something in a red or green, I think that would work. Definitely not a big deal though and I would not have noticed it if you hadn't said anything. For lazy crafters like myself, do you think this could be made with 110 lb card stock and no chipboard? I know the chipboard makes a much nicer album though. Just lazy... Do you think your husband checks out your craft room when you're traveling? That thought just popped into my head. I know, I should have left it there right?

Yep you could totally do any folio with card stock. Just depends on what you like. N I try my hardest to keep him out cuz he hates all of it and right now it seriously looks like an episode of hoarders lol. You might find a dead cat under that paper in the corner 😂😂😂

Just as long as you don't return home from a trip to find big signs in your neighborhood that say "Huge Craft Supplies Sale" and arrows pointing to your house🤣

Beautiful! How do you cut the matting on your tags? Is it with a scan and cut? If so, is there a way to do it without a scan and cut?

Thank you. I actually just fussy cut cuz it’s much faster to do vs putting a few pieces on my scan n cut. But yes you could definitely do it. You just stick the sticker on your card stock then set it to have a border 😉

I would like to know how to make on the front cover the little open magnet pocket not sure what you call it, is there a video to do that I went through this video and you never said how to do front cover? Thank you

You choose any size that you want but for this one all I did was take a 4 1/4 x 8 1/2 piece of cardstock and score in the middle at 4 1/4 then you glue it on 3 sides to make a pocket. Hopefully, that helps 😉

Hello, so does Karolina Krafts have this tutorial where she makes the front of this album where you can open it? And the waterfall can it be made the same but make it pull from the opposite direction? Thank you
