The last few years our family got together we did a White Elephant exchange for the adults. Everyone would bring something they no longer wanted from home, wrapped very nicely for the exchange (I always took something from my ‘donate’ box. The Planners would let everyone choose a number and you would receive the gift with the corresponding number. The gifts were opened one at a time and if you didn’t like/want the gift you received you could ‘steal’ someone else’s gift. We would go around the circle twice so that each recipient had the option to keep or steal/exchange a gift twice. It was hilarious and a lot of fun.

Try using a plastic fork with the two middle tines broken out to dip the cake balls. Works great with pretzels as well. Great vlog!Thank you for sharing!🌲🌲❤

Here’s a cake ball hack for you. I make mine with real cake mostly, but if I’m in a hurry-Twinkies work well. Just dump them in your mixer-no need for icing because of the cream filling. Then roll, refrigerate, and dip as usual. My niece requested I use Little Debbie Christmas Trees so I’m trying that this year.

I got everything done early this year. Hanukkah was early this year so I had everything ready before I left for Florida. I watched my grandsons open their presents via Face Time. I also got the Christmas presents ready so I won't have to do anything when I get home on the 21st.

Always love your videos! A wise person once told me cheaper is not always better when it comes to Alcohol. As I have gotten older, now in my 50’s, I definitely appreciate that advice. The better the alcohol the lesser affects suffered. 😀

I did the same thing with my kids. Keeping them equal. I still do & they’re married now. Would love to make cake pops. I don’t drink so I don’t have the Liquor store on my list. Everything else is on there. I love fruit pizza. It’s perfect for holiday gatherings!!

If you add a little bit of vegetable oil to your melted chocolate, it will be much smoother. That's what I do when I dip strawberries. Merry Christmas to you and your beautiful family.

Crystal next time put sticks inside the cake balls to make cake pops🥰 it makes it so much easier to roll them into the chocolate and then right into the sprinkles and then you stand them up to set👍

I discovered this a few years ago while shopping for a drink recipe. Blew me away. You crack me up each year about some kind of balls. Everything looks beautiful and cozy! We are officially on our 3-week Christmas break from school, so I intend to get lots of things done this week before Christmas Day! Personally I love the longer videos as it allows me more time to sit down and relax!! I hope you enjoyed date night with your husband and that "The Nutcracker" was amazing. My husband and I just went last week Thursday to see "Peter Pan" at the Ordway Theater in downtown St. Paul. It was so beyond good and definitely worth the price of admission. It is here until December 31st so if you and your husband are up for a road trip (since you live relatively close to the Twin Cities), it is so worth your time and I would highly recommend going.

I went and bought 2 battery boxes for the son in laws❤ Candy melts need quite a bit of coconut oil to get a decent dipping consistency. Add 1 tsp at a time until you are happy with the drip. 1 made over 200 of them for my daughter’s wedding last Feb. it was trial and error too but by the end I was quite happy with my efforts

Girl, they have all kinds of flavored vodka these days! I'm amazed everytime I go looking for flavored vodka! I make jello shots every year for my besties pool birthday party. I try and match the flavor of the jello to the same flavor vodka! The whipped cream one is always good!

I just love you and your videos Crystal. You are always such a joy to watch because you are always smiling and working and not fussing about everything. You are such a great mother and wife, I love to see your interaction with your children. I think your cake balls came out fine. We did cake pops for my granddaughters birthday party one time and ended up using cake donut holes and they worked out ok. I think we drizzled the candy icing which made it easier. You made your Christmas wrapping look so easy. 😊❤😊🎄🦌🔔🎅

Girl…..use a fork to dip 😂 Rest the cake ball on the fork, dip and tap on side of bowl. Slide off the fork gently with another fork. I do Peanut Butter Buckeyes and Peppermint Patties every year.
