New viewer here. Loved the opening twilight views from outside ,looking in on all those glowing trees. It says welcome, come on in! The kitchen has such warmth with the wood stove hood and open shelves. So many kitchens are just all white with no personality. Beams and shiplap and bricks... oh my! These are a few of my favorite things! I just wish i knew how to download all the beautiful vintage looking art. I will have to have my grandson teach me! Just a beautiful home, with a cozy, warm feel. Loved it!

It’s NOT a farmhouse house , if not on a farm…it’s a ‘fad’….just sayn. My house was built in 2001, and it’s styled after the Victorian era with gingerbread in the forest ‘look’….but it cannot be called a Victorian as it was built in 2001!…..anyhoo, so glad to see someone else who really goes all out for Christmas. It took me 3weeks to decorate my entire 3300sq ft home. But I leave Christmas up until epiphany> the 12 days of Christmas.

We are on several acres. We are getting chickens, steer, and plan on growing crops. It will be a small running farm soon!

It's a farmhouse, which is a style, not a farm house.

@@5sweetiepie TRADITIONALLY FARMHOUSES are simply homes built on agricultural lands to house and protect who owned or worked the land. The term Farmhouse isn't necessarily connected to a particular style identified by a fixed set of features, but a setting for a way of life. This is most likely why its appeal seems to be timeless. We love it, and love the lifestyle we are creating! ❤️
