The Upper Peninsula of Michigan is sparse. The largest city only boasts a population of 21,000. What could it have to offer when it comes to Christmas? Well, it turns out, it has quite a lot of great things. We explore a some Christmas happenings in the UP and some of the Christmas history.
The Christmas Tree Ship, the village of Christmas, Michigan, getting an authentic Christmas postmark, seeing a Christmas play and much more. We interview, talk, walk and drive through the unique landscape and culture.

The mall in Christmas Michigan used to be the post office also I don’t remember when it closed kind of sad the small towns in the U.P. are slowly dying thank you for putting this together

The summer of 68 when I was a grade schooler I camped with my Grandparents at the small park on Lake Superior between Munising & Christmas. In Christmas they had a Bear in a small chain link pen on cement and a Pop machine near it to buy pop for the Bear .

I loved the video thanks for schooling me on how to do the u.p..Truly yall are youtube ROCK STARS in my book .I have fallin in love with the u.p.and can't wait to make a trip just like this one and someday soon hopefully own a small place of my own somewhere up there.I tell people that they answer with a question why? My wife of 36 years being one of them yea it's nice in florida half the year but the summers man let me tell ya are hot. Love yalls channel.
