I wrap my trees as well in my front yard, a little trick I use is to Wrap it around your hands to create The beginning of a ball, probably about 10 times around and then you remove it from your hand and continue to wrap it as you would a rubber band ball, this way it is easier to just manipulate a ball of lights around the tree as you wrap it.

Looks great. My neighbor used one of those LED’s that project a moving pattern of lights into a tree. It looks surprisingly good, like a swarm of fireflies. Would be less work to set up and take down. Also less stressful on tree.

Can not believe I talked my wife to move here but here we are. Now I am putting lights on palm trees with gators in the back yard! LOL! Thanks for your great guidance. I’m a senior and want to do the red and green floodlights. We need a video on how to connect them together with cords snd connectors. Thanks for the idea. Great for seniors who cant climb ladders anymore.

I have a bunch of those date palms here in SoCal.. they look nice but any time I work near ‘em they poke me and irritate all day! Is that just me..? Ouch. ... my neighbor puts lights in his. I won’t touch them unless I have to.
