Idk about you but I like those unexpected Christmas gifts you don't have on your list, even if it's something you didn't initially want. It shows how much thought something can put in to make you feel special on Christmas. When I was really little my family would give me and my little sister some money and go to the store, I would shop with dad and she would shop with mom then we would switch then wrap our presents for each other privately. It wasn't much but I miss that fuzzy feeling a lot before my family broke... 😞

We act like the toys are people and I can't explain it but its actually fun lmao. It's developed a lore Just some weird yet creative things we do with the toys that we enjoy. Not a good way to look at things because then your children will start to feel entitled a lot of kids will go without gifts this year on Christmas due to the prices of things raising instead of people worrying about materialistic things they should try to help out society by volunteering and soup kitchens, etc. Christmas is not about gifts but about spending time with family and loved ones and being thankful for what you have because God knows not a lot of people are as fortunate as this girl

That's a lot. I'm really trying not to judge but the way kids are raised and given everything is mind blowing. I'm 35 and work over 50 hours a week in a nursing home and can't afford all those things she wants for Christmas. Poor girl doesn't understand the value of a dollar. I hope you all didn't get her all of those things. Just the shoes were over $130 a pair. Then the phone over $1,000. You get her use to living a certain way then reality hits as an adult and she won't be able to cope with not having all those luxuries nor will she be capable of budgeting. Setting her up for failure.

With their time spent doing research and their presentation skills improving year by year, they will be ready for the real world by the time they are adults in whatever it is they decide to do in life. Kids always have super long Christmas wishlists, and although some kids only put the stuff they are guaranteed to get others add a bunch of stuff as ideas knowing full well they might not get all of it. So my first point is she might not get all of it, and making a list this long does not make a kid spoiled. But since she is a kid on KZfaq she might actually get all of it. My second point is if this is the case just because she get everything on her wishlist it does mean she is spoiled. I do not know though because I do not know her. But what makes a kid spoiled is when they feel better than everyone else because of the things they own, and may not feel that way. My third point is if her parents were to get her all of this they are not immediately bad at parenting it just means they are successful, and as long as they do not replace their parenting with materialistic items, show her the value of the dollar, eventually, tell her these items mean nothing, and to work hard so she can afford this life style later in her life she is fine! So the 80 inch flatscreen TV the nicely decorated stockings, the beautiful fireplace and the happy baby noises in the back doesn’t tell you or indicate to you that she’s spoiled lol. Secondly, if she knew that her parents didn’t have the money she wouldn’t of asked for those expensive things. I am a teen myself, and I have a lot of things on my wish list that I would love to get, but I know that I’m not as fortunate to get them. Plus people should teach the kids to be humble and know that Christmas is not about gifts but about spending time with family and being thankful for the things that God has blessed you with volunteer at a soup kitchen help the homeless don’t just spend time thinking about yourself and what you want and what’s the latest trends in the most expensive thing that you can think of trust me if she didn’t think her parents couldn’t afford what she was asking for she would’ve never made the PowerPoint presentation and ask for what she asked for

@@exclusiveeasia8717 Firstly, being wealthy does not make you spoiled, being a brat, and thinking material items are more important than people does. Secondly, some kids have a huge Christmas list knowing that they might only get two-five things. Thirdly, I am also a teen, and although I never have a huge Christmas list I know if I gave my parents one they would just narrow it done for me. Fourthly, I totally agree parents should teach their kids to be humble, but in no way is she being boastful by bring excited to show them her Christmas list. Fifthly, I 100% agree with you Christmas is about the blessings god has given us, and volunteering at a soup kitchen is a good way to share our blessings; but in what way is being excited about your Christmas list not being grateful? Lastly, I am sure she is well aware her parents are wealthy, and that is why she put expensive items on her list; but again that does not make her spoiled. So, prettying much exactly what I said in the original comment. BTW I am not defending her because I am subscribed or like her. I am simply defending her because I want people to see it my way. Although, they may not agree with me , which I am okay with.

This is actually really helpful I used this last year and my parents and family definitely appreciated it because it was way easier to tell what I wanted and I showed the prices on there etc and I’ve even helped other family’s get into this tradition to of making a power point it’s really fun to do if your board and people don’t know what to get you for Christmas I used Canva for the template then just edited it as I went😁

Are you kidding me? I am a teenager and I would never ask my parents for expensive things like that even if they could afford it that’s just entitlement. Christmas is not about gifts. It’s about spending time with your loved ones and being thankful for the things that you have and some of these kids nowadays do not understand that because they’re so caught up with social media and materialistic things. Not one thing on her list was not expensive. For crying out loud the presentation is playing on an 80 inch flatscreen TV.

This is very detailed and fun! I always try to take screenshots of the things I want. My older family members dislike when us kids say "whatever" or "Money is fine", because they enjoy seeing us unwrap presents. But its so hard to remember what I want when they ask me for my list. I like this girls energy and moxie. I know for a 100% fact that if my family had the money they would buy me all the cool and expensive stuff i wanted. I know this because when my family did have money they bought themselves all the cool and expensive items they wanted 😂. Sadly, in my family one big expensive item is the limit realistically 😂. Or I could get a good handful of decently priced items. In my sisters friends family their mom buys stuff all year around, so when Christmas comes there is an avalanche of gifts for everyone. Its really cool to see the photos of gifts around their tree. Anyway from this video I'd wager this girls family has the money to spend, and I think if you got it you might aswell live it up! My family would 😊

I always make sure not to ask for too much and I won’t put it on my list if it’s too much. My list last year was clothes, hair ties, silk pillowcase, and a new suitcase.

i made lists when i was way younger (whatever toys were popular) but when i got older i just stopped making lists because my parents would be able to buy me one or two of the things i asked for since teen interests are very expensive. i would just say get me some surprises haha it was part of the fun. if i wanted a phone i would save up half the money and my parents would help me out but not for christmas. christmas and phones/gadgets don’t mix

I got Christmas pajamas and one modest gift (never anything over like $50). My parents had money, but they made sure not to spoil us with material things. I’m super grateful for them. ❤️

Omg, this must be a thing. I too got a PowerPoint presentation from my 21 year old son who is at Uni 4.5 hours away. Like your daughter, he was so sweet to provide me with all of the links so all I have to do is click and buy. What a sweetheart. If you total up everything he wants, it’s $5200. Just chump change, according to him. Sad thing is, I love him so much, I’ll probably get the majority of stuff on the list. What can I say, I’m a sucker.
