I really REALLY love this! Thank you so much for reminding me how blessed I am. I take so many daily gifts for granted. This puts it all in perspective again. Thank you!!! It's like the Paul Newman quote: "When I wake up in the morning and find I still have a pulse, the rest is gravy."

"Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow." - Melody Beattie

Many of us in the West would do well to visit and make friends in "the majority world." No guilt trip intended--it's just reality. For so many, running water, electricity, beds off the floor, glass windows, clothes dryers and cars are just dreams. The world is populated with wonderful, intelligent, beautiful people and we do well to have our blessings in perspective and resist being isolated in our abundance.

It would be great to know, I know many people are so ignorant of this, many many people are grateful for having what is basic life needs. Look at a fisherman somewhere on a village in an African country so happy catching a few fish to sell and eat. No electricity or cars available out there. They are grateful just like this kind character in this video. A lot of love is missing in this world because no empathy nor compassion is tough in schools no more. How are you feeling" instead of "what grade you got in school today? One might stop for a second and think. When was the last time I asked my child:"How are you feeling today, son?. Did you make asked new friend? ". Money money money is all about that money. You know you can have both right?

It was probably 20 years ago on Christmas morning when my daughter had opened her gifts and said "is this all?" and I was instantly convicted by my own ungratefulness and how it must break our heavenly Father's heart when we compare what He has blessed us with to something someone else has. A BIG lesson learned from a little child.

Just to be a 'thankful' tool and keep paying all your masters for all that stuff 'you're grateful for,' and never do anything for yourself but live in an escapist fantasy. Please share this video with the next person who wants to be confirmed that the lifestyle that are stuck in and addicted to is 'ok' and that God just plopped it in your lap, and that you worship God by continuing in it.

Very nice. Sadly, though, there a very large number of Americans who lack very basics like running water, a bed, clean clothes, food, even a toilet. A major contributor has been politics that ignore these problems, or blame the poor for being poor. What are we doing to change this?

🌲Jeremiah 10:2-5 New King James Version (NKJV) 2 Thus says the Lord: “Do not learn the way of the Gentiles; Do not be dismayed at the signs of heaven, For the Gentiles are dismayed at them. 3 For the customs of the peoples are [a]futile; For one cuts a tree from the forest, The work of the hands of the workman, with the ax. 4 They decorate it with silver and gold; They fasten it with nails and hammers So that it will not topple. 5 They are upright, like a palm tree, And they cannot speak; They must be carried, Because they cannot go by themselves. Do not be afraid of them, For they cannot do evil, Nor can they do any good
