Great video! What a really good way to make the shaker card with only removing the release paper from three sides first. And what an ingenious way to add the micro beads. Thanks for the tips.

Just wanted to add a comment as I did watch a few of your videos while making my cards this year. I'm wondering why I'd take all this time to make my cards when its hard for me to just get ready made cards out the door on time! But I was inspired this year to do this with a bunch of old post cards that I never used. I used just one of your ideas and made a bunch of cards with that and some plain paper and envelopes that I ordered. They came out great! Your cards are simply stunning. I can't believe how beautiful they are! Your friends and family are so fortunate to receive these. An old fashioned way to think of others and enjoy the past time of sending cards. Thank you.

I also use the inside of the card sentiment if nobody has signed close to the sentiment. I save all the leftover scraps from the front to use with the sentiment. Maybe enough to back the small sentiment. You did a great job.

I've decided to make my cards this using recycled cards. Your older video was first one I watched this week. I like the music and speeded up motion instead of a lot of chitter chatter. So I am going to now newer watch more of your tutorials. Thank you!

Good to hear you'll give recycled Christmas cards a try! It is definitely nice that youtube allows for speeding and slowing down videos it can be quite helpful. Inam so didappointed sent out 58 homemade cards not including children and few others thought get 48 got 32 bsck, wont msking so many next year x love yours

Oh sorry to hear that. I know we put a lot of work and love in cardmaking. Sometimes people may be overwhelmed or dealing with personal pain, we never know. I don't always get cards back but I trust and have faith that what I sent lifted the recipients spirits in some way and I'm ok with that. 😊

This is FAB! Are there copyright issues for selling?

Hi! That is a great question. Being that the cards I recycle are mostly branded and copyrighted designs I think that there may be questions raised about infringement if selling them. I don't sell my recycled cards though, I save these for friends and family. However, the cards and designs are being cut into and are no longer being used in their original form, nor are they being replicated for mass distribution so I do not think this would be considered copyright infringement. Now I am not an attorney or expert on this matter so I could be completely wrong! But after looking into it, this was my understanding. Thank you for your comment!

Both. I also have an etsy shop that is currently on vacation mode as I work on inventory. Thanks for asking! I'll be sure to mention when the shop is up and stocked!
