he probably hadn't played that solo since he recorded it ,jackson calls & says , hey chris , pick one of your solos ,we need a new promo for youtube, ,,,,,ok, he listened to it like maybe twice, and recorded it , 1 take, ok guys here it is, ,,,,,,,,,,jackson rep was like , what it's been 2 hours since i talked to you ,, it can't be done yet, ????????!!!!!,,,,,,,awesome, chris has such a layed back way about him, and plays some of the most complex lines and runs i've ever heard, and it looks like he just does it on a whim , like breathing,,, he is just soooo good,, i'm glad he didn't fall off the world after A.E., but michael really needs him to oversee the new A.E. stuff, it's just not the same quality

Love this solo!! Chris, your melodic stuff is much better than the death style stuff. I only really listen to two Armageddon albums because the other stuff sounds pretty much like all the other Swedish melodic death. You are so freaking good at melodic soloing and the classic 80s style riffs. Please do more albums like this!
